Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins BA/MA graduate with tutoring experience
My passion for teaching comes from a life-long love of learning, especially when it comes to reading and writing. I received my bachelors degree in political science from Johns Hopkins University with minors in both History and Latin American Studies. During the summers I taught pre-college summer programs for the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) on topics ranging from International Politics to National Security Issues.
I recently graduated from the Johns Hopkins MA in Communication program where I focused on public speaking, presentation skills, and effective writing strategies. A large portion of my coursework was completed online, and I can offer an expertise and experience in online learning techniques and platforms.
I am generally available for lessons on Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 8 PM online or in person. I am happy to make special accommodations for weekend or evening hours so please feel free to reach out for more information. In addition, I can offer flexible rates for lesson packages or small group tutoring.
