College Student in Manchester, NH will tutor students in English, writing & catholicsm

I am currently a Junior in college studying Human Services/Gerontology. I'm a published writer who loves helping school age children succeed in homework and especially in English/Writing. I will work with your child's learning format. They may bring their actual assignments to lessons if they wish, or if they need extra help I will create lessons in addition to school assignments. I have a flexible style of teaching, and always cater to the needs of my students. If they do not feel comfortable in my home, or their own home- I will go to other areas, such as a school, library, or a quiet cafeteria in the area. I have experience with children from 1st all the way through 10th grade.

Basic rate is 25/hr. If finances are a problem, they can be negotiated depending on individual need. I can also offer pack rates for tutoring more than one child (great if you have two or more children who are struggling!)

Amanda's Practical information

I teach homework help, reading, english, creative writing. Lessons are available for the following levels: primary school, junior school, sophomore, junior, senior

Amanda's Experience

While I am new to trying to find paid students, I have been assisting area children with homework off and on since I graduated high school in 2007. My former high school occasionally invites me back to assist students who are falling behind. Some of my past students I have tutored have gone from practically failing a course, to excelling, or raising their grades from an F to a C or better.

Amanda's CV

I graduated from Manchester HS West in 2007.
I currently am a Junior at Southern NH University, studying for my Bachelor's in Human Services/Gerontology. I then plan to go on to obtain my funeral director's license, or perhaps a career in pastoral counseling/chaplaincy. Anticipated graduation date is January of 2018.
I am a published author, writing both fiction and non-fiction/historical books.
I have worked with children from 1st-10th grade in a classroom setting, teaching religious education.
