Hi! I'm Vera, and I am an undergraduate student at Boston University. After spending three quarters of my life playing the violin, I have learned and refined skills such as sight-reading, music analysis, concentration, discipline, and much more. Music is so important, not only because it is a creative outlet, but also because many skills learned through studying music are applicable to other aspects of life.
I am flexible with teaching methods and will adapt to students' respective learning styles. I hope to motivate students and spread my love for music.
I have been playing the violin for 13 years, and studied music theory for 4 years. I studied violin as well as music theory and was a member of the highest-level orchestra at the Mannes School of Music (NYC). I also later took private violin lessons in Vienna, Austria. I am very passionate about music and am so excited to show you why!
I have an International Baccalaureate Diploma as well as a high school diploma and am currently studying at Boston University.
From kindergarten through high school, I have performed on various stages in solo performances as well as with orchestras. In middle school, I performed in an orchestra at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
