Currently licensed Teacher with 12 years experience: Pre K-12 Specializes in Reading And Language Arts

I am a guide when it comes to my approach to teaching. I help students find where to look for answers, help them to think more about their thinking (metacognition), so that they can become independent learners, and try to find out students interests to fuel their motivation to want to learn more.

I teach academic tutoring, reading, modernist literature, literacy, academic english. Lessons are available for the following levels: primary school, junior high / middle school, sophomore, junior, senior, college, adult education, advanced technical certificate
I give lessons in person at the student's home.
I give lessons by webcam.

Angela's Experience

I taught traditional classroom work for 12 years, worked as a tutor for Wyzant last year, and have also worked for Sylvan as a tutor a long time back. I have a PreK-12 NM Teaching license which is still current and have even taught as many as 150 students per day at the high school level. My specialty area is literacy and I've been with almost all levels (special needs and advanced levels).
