I believe teaching Spanish means you need to know the country as well. This is important to the high school tutees I've worked with. Workbook and repetitive recitation are instrumental keys to success. Seek first to understand than to be understood as a tutor.
Travel compensation may be required.
I've been a tutor to two high school students for two years. They both raised their grades from a D to a B. Note cards for vocabulary and verbal and written conjugation practice was imperative. Learning Spanish should be fun!
I have a BA in Spanish from a accredited university. I have traveled in Spain. Mexico, and Guatemala for education.
