I received a BA in Math at NYU, MS in Math at UC Irvine, and worked as an actuarial analyst at Mercer LLC in New York having passed the first two actuarial exams (probability and financial math). I'm patient, and I ask questions to help students to arrive at the answer themselves.
I was a teaching assistant (TA) for several math courses over the last 2 years. Each course had between 30 and 65 students. The students who came to my office hours performed much better in general compared to the rest of the class. I also privately tutored several students in the last 2 years, many of them getting the top grades in their classes.
