I am a current medical student at UCSD and while preparing for my own MCAT, I learned that I greatly enjoyed teaching the material. I scored in the 98th percentile when I took the new MCAT and since then I have helped others prepare themselves. I prefer to help students develop a plan for preparation for the MCAT as well as provide assistance in teaching material not covered adequately during their undergraduate courses.
Approaching the end of my undergraduate career, I began to experience the stress of preparing for MCATs and the long process of applying to medical school. Many large companies have branded their secrets to success as high dollar enterprises designed to drain students of their money while merely providing them with cheat sheets and confidence. I did not think this was fair and so I decided to start providing help at a much discounted rate with a one-on-one tutoring experience. I have been providing formal and informal tutoring to undergraduate students for the last year. I worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant throughout my undergraduate career in the biological sciences teaching the same material covered on the MCAT.
