1983 master's in chemical engineering, 20 years in Paper Industry R&D, 2005 master's in math education, 2005 through 2008 high school math teacher, since 2008 adjunct math instructor in Charlotte, NC area colleges. I teach those with a desire to discover the relationships that exist in our universe and have been called "The David Copperfield of Math".

Tim is a very knowledgeable person in math and science. He has instructed college math, environmental science, science of sound and science of light courses for us. The students enjoy his presence in the classroom and he is always willing to work with students before or after class. He has always been willing to come in on his days off to cover classes for other instructors when they were absent. He has also been an asset in making adjustments to curriculum to best help the students be successful.
I have two master's degrees and have been a teacher in Charlotte, NC for ten years. I have taught students ranging in age from 11 to 70 and from individuals to class sizes of 40. All have left with a new appreciation for the language of math. Courses taught range from developmental algebra to trigonometry. I am also comfortable with calculus.
