With a degree in Electrical Engineering, mathematics is a pre-requisite for all Engineering courses which I took. So math has really become something that I enjoy doing (crazy as that sounds). In my lessons, I like to make sure that the students understand the underlying concepts before introducing them to new ones. Because math is a subject that builds upon itself (you need to take Algebra before your take Calculus), I think it is also important to emphasize to students why they are learning the current topic and how it will help them in the future.
I have been tutoring students for over 10 years, some of those for companies and many of them privately. I have helped students to graduate from high school or college by my work, and take quite a bit of pride in that.
Obtained Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering with Distinction from Sonoma State University in May of 2015 but also attended University of California, Riverside.
