As a 2004 graduate of Applied Linguistics/TESOL Graduate Program from Montclair State University, I have over ten years of experience in working with English as Second Language cultural diversity students. While my academic experience is in teaching and linguistics, I have experience in data entry, computer skills as I worked for publishing online medical lexicon dictionary, as part of my linguistic graduate studies program. Also, I have certified TABE, Language Assessment System-English Planning and Administration, in testing and assessing ESL students.
Being a trilingual student as well as instructor, I have taken the opportunity to teach a wide verity of students from various backgrounds and in several countries. I have good communication skills and fluency in three languages i.e. English, Arabic and Armenian. Ability to transcribe, translate and interpret the three languages. I am challenged to be creative, and patient. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a caring, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher. I will also take aim to encourage and maintain a communicative, and supportive classroom.
In addition to my enthusiasm, being an interpersonal ESL instructor, I will be able to bring to the position my detail orientation, cross-cultural communication skills. I will also bring my honesty, reliability as well as be punctual, well-mannered advisor. I'd love the opportunity to share with you my range of experience and skills in education, and to convey my compassion and enthusiasm towards students.
