I'm a seasoned apparel designer and graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I have a MBA from the University of Phoenix. I have taught students at the Middle School, High school and College levels. I'm currently an Adjunct Professor at Wayne County Community College, Detroit, Michigan. I am qualified to teach Merchandising, Marketing, Sewing, Textiles, Fashion Illustration, Pattern making, and the Business of Fashion.
I worked for fortune 500 firms in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit. I have over 25 years of International experience in product development and design. I've traveled to Canada, Mexico The Caribbean, Paris, London, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
I was a recipient of the Emillio Pucci Scholarship.
I was named Young Up and Coming Designer Award by Phillip Morris.
In 1990 I was awarded 1st place Design Competition and trip to Paris France.
I was an Intern at Barneys New York.
I worked as a Senior Technical Designer for; Sergio Valente, Members Only, Pelle Pelle, Willi Smith, London Fog, and Perry Ellis in New York City.
