Final course of a three-course sequence in Advanced Composition and Conversation. It focuses on textual application, and literary analysis while providing for the identification and analysis of the most frequent figures of speech. Select exerts by Camus, Sartre, Yourcenar, Baudelaire, Zola, Colette, Simone de Beauvoir, Hugo, etc.

Francophone World Cultures, Spring and Winter 1999.
A two-course sequence designed to meet the American Diversity/World Culture requirement. The purpose is to broaden students’ understanding of the diversity of francophone cultures both outside and within France. Students demonstrate their ability to think critically and analytically about the Francophone world through journals, group discussion, answering questions about short authentic readings or materials in the text.

Internship. Assisting a Professor in leading group discussion, correcting homework in and outside of class.

French Composition and Conversation, Fall 1998.

Beginning French, Honors section, 1997-98.
A five-credit hour course, five days a week in which I introduced French literature from various centuries, from the Seventeenth through the Twentieth.
