I am an approachable, easy-to-talk to guy, and as a journalist, I believe my people skills enable me to connect with all types of high school and undergraduate students. A lesson with me is more of a constructive conversation; I will attentively work with you through the process of our assignment while trying to foster a comfortable learning environment.
I have helped dozens of high school students with college application essays over the past two years, and many of them went on to attend prestigious universities nationwide. Since becoming a writing coach at UT-Austin, I now help a other undergraduate students improve their grades on writing assignments through one-on-one tutoring.
I can meet students either in my apartment, at the University of Texas at Austin campus, at nearby cafes or restaurants, or at their home (if feasible).
I accept cash, check or Venmo as forms of payment.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment's start will result in a $30 fee (exceptions may be made).
