I believe the best way to teach is a combination of keeping the teaching process as simple and 'organic' as much as possible, and teaching the student in a gradual, structured way, according to the student's prior knowledge and level of understanding. By this I mean that teachiing should should feel almost like telling a story, or engaging the student in a conversation, not too different from enjoying a conversation with a friend. Lastly, always having a clear idea of the learning objectives that the student should achieve at the end of the lesson or lessons.
I have been teaching a range of general subjects since the early 2000s, in both private and public educational settings. My main forte lies in teaching the correct usage and implementation of the English language. I also excel in human Geography, creative writing, civics education and social studies. I have also taught basic ESL (English as a second language) to a wide range of students, from young people to working adults.
Any distance travelled more than 10 miles one way by me will incur an additional $5 surcharge.
