I have designed different courses based on different needs/requests from students. Normally, there are two written ways used in my classes. One is to use the Romanization spelling to help with pronunciation for students who have very limited time to learn. The other way is to use Khmer alphabets in the class. In order to make this option possible, students are required to learn how to read and/or write Khmer alphabets before heading to basic conversational phrases and other more advanced stuff. This is for students who have more time and are more interested in linguistic parts of the language which, in return, will help them to be able to use Khmer in a more official way.
There are two types of languages used in my course. One is what I call 'standard' Khmer and the other is what I call 'slang/informal' Khmer. It is important to learn at least these two types of languages because spoken Khmer can be very different from written Khmer. By having the knowledge of both written and spoken Khmer, students will be able to communicate more fluently and easily with native Khmers.
I have been offering private Khmer sessions for individuals and groups for more than 3 years now. I have taught students from different nationalities including American, Australian, German and French. These students come from different work and life background. Some of them work in an office, which requires them to learn more official Khmer terms. Some of them work in a restaurant and bar which require them to learn more casual and playful language.
I have students who come and learn for a short term course and students who have been learning with me for a longer term.
The ones who have ended the course have left with positive attitude towards the language and also have given me very nice feedbacks in the past.
I really enjoy the opportunity to teach people in the past and presence. I am excited and look forwards to meeting and teaching more people from different corners of the world.

Perfect! Linda is a very, very patient tutor. Through her teaching, my Khmer is progressing well. She is very thorough and has lesson plans already set in place. She is a very warm and bright person to talk to. I cannot recommend her enough! She’s so great!
Sue has shown her progress in her Khmer learning. She is getting more familiar with Khmer pronunciation. She has also shown a lot of patience with the learning process. As her tutor, I’m proud and excited to see how she will continue to learn and develop her Khmer language.
Linda is an excellent teacher!! We spoke a lot about my job, and the kind of everyday language that I would need to be using. Linda then tailored our classes around this. It’s extremely helpful to have a fluent English speaking teacher, it has made my understanding of the Khmer language a lot stronger. I can not recommend Linda highly enough for anyone wanting to learn Khmer at any level!
Linda's lessons helped me a lot to progress in my ability to understand, speak, write and read Khmer.
Her class is on one side straightforward and professional on the other hand she is adapting to personal needs and weaknesses of her students. Furthermore, her lessons are very interactive, so it is easy for her students to stay focused and concentrated.
From all the Khmer teachers I had, Linda showed the most expertise and is by far the most outstanding.
I would highly recommend taking lessons with her if you want to make fast progress in a professional way.
Linda is a very careful and patient teacher, open to questions and takes time to work on the right pronunciation.
She is also very flexible on the topics of the lessons.
I definitely recommend her if you want to learn Khmer/English in a friendly atmosphere.
Linda is an amazing teacher. She speaks fluent English which makes the explanations very clear and easy to understand. She takes the time you need to review everything and follows up the classes with homework. I highly recommend her as a teacher.
I had Khmer class with few different teachers over the last years and Linda's way of teaching is by far the best. She is organized and well prepared. She understands well and follows my rhythm. I definitely notice a faster improvement in my Khmer than anytime before. I warmly recommend Linda.
