500 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute across the world. Of these videos, there’s a fair number of them dedicated to learning dance moves.
You can find choreography for all levels on the platform. Think of warming up for a few minutes so that you don’t do yourself an injury.

Men and women alike struggle not to dance along with Queen B, just look at Justin Timberlake’s remake of the video.
There are even special group classes you can attend to learn this routine or another famous dance routine like the one in Dirty Dancing. A dance tutor can teach you every step of the song.
This could be a great idea for a hen party, don’t you think?
Of course, if you’d like to learn the moves on your own, you can always head to YouTube for some help.

Learning the Dance from Thriller
Another of the world’s most famous dance routines is the one from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. There are so many videos online to help you learn the King of Pop’s dance moves.
We’ve chosen the routine from Thriller as it’s bound to come in handy on Halloween. The video, which at 13 minutes and 42 seconds is nearly a film in its own right, cost over 1 million dollars to produce. It won 8 Grammy Awards
So how can you learn the routine?
With this YouTube video from the Howcast.com Channel runs through every step in the main part of the dance. There are also three other videos in the series for you to watch so that you won't be overwhelmed with all the steps you'll have to learn. After all, with a song that lasts nearly a quarter of an hour, it's no surprise that there are quite a few steps to learn.

Learning the Choreography to Taki Taki
Would you like to attend a dance class but aren’t sure which style of dancing to get started with? Argentine tango, Cuban salsa, ballet, etc.?
Before you settle on a style, you might want to learn the basics of dancing through a few different dance routines. In terms of hip hop dancing, you might want to learn to dance along to DJ Snake’s “Taki Taki”.
This video from Saksia's Dansschool has been viewed over 47 million times at the time of writing but my favourite part is Pimmie the Dog who seems completely uninterested in the dance moves.
While the moves aren't explained, they are repeated throughout and you can always pause the video or change the playback speed (just click on the settings cog and change the setting).
You might have heard the Level Up Challenge from Ciara. This choreography belongs to the urban, hip hop, and street jazz genres. It’d be quite easy for experienced dancers who’ve studied a similar style but also impossible for beginners as it requires a lot of coordination and speed.
There's a reason it's called a challenge. This video from Chop Daily explains the steps that you have to do and has been viewed over a million times. That said, this challenge went viral so there are plenty of other YouTube video tutorials if this one doesn't take your fancy. Have a look around and pick the one that you most like the style of.

This channel has nearly 20 million subscribers and has plenty of awesome examples of choreography and dance routines. There are different playlists for different dancers so if you find one whose style you like and check out all their routines.
Also, in under five years, this channel has had over 4.5 billion views!
You'll soon see why it's so popular.
WilldaBeast Adams's YouTube channel has videos of choreography as well as a podcast and vlog so you can keep up with his everyday life in LA. In terms of videos, you can see examples of his choreography in music videos, trailers, and advertisements.
Getting Started with Bachata with Some Simple Choreography
Let’s move on to some bachata, which is hugely popular amongst those who love Latin rhythms. Bachata is often danced in pairs but you can dance alone as a man or a woman.
Whatever you do, don’t give up! This type of dancing requires perseverance and precision. Start by learning the steps slowly and then speed up. If you haven’t learnt to do the steps right slowly, they’ll be sloppy when you try to do them quickly. Good luck, you can do it!
Check out the Howcast YouTube channel's series on how to dance Bachata. Of course, this channel is doesn't for dance tutorials and you can learn everything from dancing to how to make ice cream.
So which dance routine are you most interested in?
Whether it's contemporary dance or modern dance, there are plenty of ways to improve your musicality and dance technique with adult dance classes.
If you're interested in tap dance, ballroom dance, Zumba, hip hop dance, Jazz dance, or classical ballet classes, you can get dance lessons from one of the talented and experienced tutors on Superprof. No matter what styles of dance you're interested in, you can talk to potential tutors about the type of dance instruction you want.
Private lessons are great if you dream of being a dancer and you can't find any dance classes in the styles you're interested in or you'd prefer a teacher with a very specific type of dance experience.
You can get either face-to-face tutorials, online tutorials, and group tutorials and each type of tutorial comes with its pros and cons so you have to think carefully about which will work for you, your preferred learning style, and your budget.
Face-to-face private tutorials are between you and your tutor. The lessons will be designed with you in mind and your tutor will be spending time outside of the lessons planning and preparing them. Of course, this all comes at a cost so expect to pay more for these types of tutorials than the others available. That said, every minute of the lesson is dedicated to you and your tutor will always be on hand to answers any questions you may have.
Online tutorials, while better suited to academic subjects rather than hands-on subjects, are also available for dancing. Since the tutor doesn't have to travel to you and can schedule far more tutorials a week, they can charge more competitive rates.
Group tutorials tend to cost less per person per hour because everyone in the class is paying for it. While you won't get as much one-on-one time with your private tutor, the lessons take on a very different dynamic. Furthermore, group dance classes mean that you won't always have to dace with the same partner or your tutor in every single lesson.
Don't forget that many of the private tutors on Superprof also offer the first hour of tuition for free. Arrange a free session with several of them so that you can discuss what you're after, what you'd like to learn, how you like to learn, and the details of your tutorials.
