I encourage critical thinking and problem solving skills in all of my lessons. My goal is the get the student to truly understand the subject, not just the specific problem. I teach students how to analyze the problem, diagnose the issue, and solve using their known knowledge.
I am a Chemical Engineer with my master degree from the University of California, Riverside. I have been doing tutoring and teaching, both individual and classes, for over 6 years. During this time, 90% of my regular students were able to achieve their targeted grade in their respective class.

I investigated lead chemistry and the effects of changing water chemistry parameters on lead stability to ensure safe drinking water to all people who are exposed to lead service lines. During this time, I also worked as a T.A. for classes where I lead and instructed chemical engineering laboratory classes and held office hours to teach students about concepts learned in the class.
