My teaching method is through formative questions. I like to make the students think about what to do next through questioning them about what they're doing and what the end goal is. This is an effective means of getting the student to think for themselves and come up with the solution without me telling them how to do it. Now I can tell someone how to do something when they're stuck or if it's a new lesson, but I try to get them to do as much as they can.
I am a math teacher who has been teaching for a year now in Algebra I and Trigonometry classes. As far as tutoring has gone, I have helped around ten college students and a handful of students from the high school to middle school level.
