I AM A JUNIOR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON. I'M WORKING ON MY B.A IN CHEMISTRY AS WELL AS A TEACHING CERTIFICATION. MY LESSONS CONSISTS MOSTLY OF UNDERSTANDING THE METHODS OF LEARNING OF THE STUDENT AND APPLYING REAL LIFE SCENARIOS TO BUILD INTEREST IN THE SUBJET MATTER.
I'VE WORKED IN SCHOOLS BOTH IN AUSTIN AND HOUSTON. THERE ARE DIFFERENCES IN BOTH AS WELL AS PRIVATE VS PUBLIC. FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, I FIND IT'S BEST TO IDENTIFY WITH THE STUDENT PERSONALLY AND SHOW THEM MORE THAN ONE WAY OF LEARNING THE MATERIAL.
I have seen Eric give his undivided attention to his students. He takes into consideration the personality and learning style of each child and makes adjustments as needed. He also takes note of the students' relationships with each other. For example, he noticed how in one of his classes he had two sisters and the oldest would take lead whenever they were in the same group. To teach all his students equally, he separated them to different groups. The students admire his easy to talk to attitude.
