I approach each student where they are presently and help them define why they want to learn and what they want to accomplish, and structure my lessons to meet their goals. I believe in starting with the basics and working with the student to determine where they want to go with their knowledge. I have taught adults through age 85.
I have worked with office automation from the days of the electronic typewriter through word processors to computer databases and word processing programs. I have taught word processing (WordPerfect, Word) and most of Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel) and have worked personally with MS Publisher. My background includes computer classes at a senior center and two adult education programs, including programs for developmentally disabled adults. I am a volunteer computer coach at a local library and the Tonawanda Senior Center.
