I enjoy teaching interactive lessons. Students should feel free to say what is on their minds and express themselves openly in order to have a richer learning experiences. My main teaching methods are discussion, inquiry, and demonstration. The structure of my lessons remains consistent regardless of the co tent taught: prior knowledge review/warm up, lesson, practice/discussion.
I am a disabilities program officer who has been working with atypical children for the past four years. I have volunteered as a tutor for the past 10 years. I have an associates degree in elementary education; and I am pursuing a bachelor's in educational leadership.

Ivy is a trustworthy teacher. She believes in her students. Ivy sees beyond all the flaws of her students and sees their potential. Ivy never gives up on her students. She is very creative in the way she presents material to her students and will try everything until they get it. Failure is not an option for her Ivy and she helps builds students self-esteem. She is very passionate about her students' success. Therefore I recommend Ivy because of her desire for learning, her willingness to try new teaching strategies, her love and passion towards the development of her students and her positive attitude.
I recommend Ivy as a trustworthy educator because she is organized, patient, and has such a great passion for teaching. I've known Ivy for well over 10 years and have had the pleasure of meeting some of her students. They all speak highly of her! She always comes prepared and is always willing to help!
