I have two advanced degrees - Masters in Education and Masters in Liberal Arts (Human Dimensions of Organizations). As a college student, I took classes at universities and traveled throughout in Mexico, Nicaragua, and Brazil and I taught ESL to both adults and children in Prague, Czech Republic for a year. I use a language teaching method called Total Physical Response so that the student learns by me coordinating both language and physical movement to help bring a lesson to life. Currently, I work at an American university and teach weekly seminars to college students to prepare them for success in college.
I have been teaching college students as well as serving as a mentor for over 16 years. In all, I estimate that I have worked with thousands of adult learners who have gone on to not only earn their bachelor's degree but advanced degrees such as a master's and doctorate.
My experience teaching children while living in the Czech Republic is 1 year.
