My teaching method varies with each student. Unlike large classroom teachers, I have mostly worked one-on-one. The most importing thing is to evaluate the students current knowledge base and built upon that. I built personal trust and make them feel safe and make them feel that it's okay to wrong because that's how we learn. I always try to find different ways of explaining the same concept because not everyone thinks and learns the same way. You just have to find the right way with that person.
I'm an Electrical Engineer working for a company that provides educational hardware, software and educational material for science classrooms throughout the world. I have also worked in biomedical, robotics and renewable energy industries. I started tutoring when I was 16 years old and have been doing it on and off since then. I have tutored kids in the neighborhood, my little sister, my nephews and nieces in math, physics, chemistry, programming, electrical and electronics engineering. I hope to be a teacher in college someday soon.
