Being an engineering student, I'm well aware of short attention span during lectures that seem to extend on forever! Instead, I believe in active listening, wherein you'd know what I'm talking about because you're actually interested. How do I do that? Well, by understanding what interests you, what captures your attention and how much you can take in a single session. There's power to YOU! You tell me what interests you and I would make every effort to relate the subject with your interests. Consequently, based on your strengths and weaknesses, I would customize a detailed lecture plan on the topics that you require help with, exercises, discussions, and my favorite: your progress analysis. Results: you get it better and listen attentively! The thing is: if you actually want to learn, I'll make sure you do!
As a biomedical engineering graduate student, I aspire to make a difference in people's lives. I started volunteering for a student initiative that taught impoverished children for free during my undergraduation (biotechnology). I then proceeded to teach high school students via video lecturing as a part of a startup. With a 4 yr experience in tutoring in subjects related to biology and biotechnology, I can help you understand, interpret and score better. You'll definitely see results if you're willing to try (me)!
Excellent! Smart, patient and encouraging tutor but isn't really interactive with students, just kind of crams information into their minds by continuing to lecture and lecture and tries to question them after continuing to talk and not letting the student speak and add on or ask for help in something else (making it harder for the student to direct the class to their needs during it). And although there was this issue and more, I think I'll still recommend her because she made it enjoyable and made me look forward to each class, and she did contribute. :)
She was one of my undergraduate students. Top student, sharp mind, interactive in my subjects. Her presentations and assignment were informative, well defined and easy to understand. Her project work was outstanding complete with all objectives and, in her final presentation, she achieved the highest grade.
She is caring, knows how to solve problems, kind, lots of patience, etc.
I've known Aakanksha for almost five years now and I can, without a doubt, say that she is a very trustworthy teacher with excellent communication skills. She has thorough understanding and knowledge of her subjects. Her empathetic, dedicated and passionate approach enables an easy understanding of the topic.

Aakanksha has been teaching me since I can count. She has always been patient while listening to my seemingly stupid queries. Her way of explaining is phenomenal. She goes out of her way to provide you the knowledge that even the book fails to provide sometimes. So, I recommend her to Superprof members.
Aakansha is a very valuable teacher. She is very hardworking and does her work with a lot of passion. She owns some outstanding communication skills which help listeners to understand the topics very well and she can grab the attention with her lectures. She can effortlessly explain onerous topics. Apart from this, she is a wonderful human being and an amazing friend of mine.
