I believe the key to a successful lesson is to teach with passion and humor. My methodology changes depending upon the needs of each individual student, and I tailor my lessons to fit those needs. Just as no two students are the same, no two lessons should be the same.
I am an English teacher at an independent, preparatory school, and hold over ten years of experience in private tutoring. I have a BA in English literature, an MA in Teaching with an emphasis on Secondary English/Language Arts, and a Certificate in Publishing. Though my passion lies in teaching middle school students, I have worked with students of all ages--ranging from kindergarten to graduate students.
Students must cancel more than 1 hour before the planned lesson to avoid being charged. Additional fees may apply if travel on toll ways is required.
