EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
RPS Knowledge Reservoir, LLC, Houston, Texas 2012-2015
Senior Reservoir Engineer

History matched and made predictions for the Allen field offshore Equatorial Guinea gas cycle project (Eclipse 300 compositional model).

Performed simulation studies of the Nasen field, offshore Texas, the Songkhola field, offshore Thailand
and Geamana field, Romania.

Predicted initial rates for new wells in four existing fields in Bolivia using Prosper software.
Prepared reservoir engineering due diligence on the field development plan for Gimboa field, offshore Angola.

Petronas Caragli, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 2011 – 2012
Senior Reservoir Engineer
Worked with a multi-disciplinary team to generate field development plans for two 400 to 800 BSCF fields offshore Malaysia using, Petrel RE, Petrel, Forgas and Petroleum Experts' software. Fields plans were generated on an accelerated schedule in order to bridge an expected shortfall in gas supply. Subsurface portions of the development plans were compressed form eight to three months. Both subsurface plans were endorsed by Petronas for use in facilities design within the scheduled time

Addax Petroleum 2003-2011
Reservoir Engineering Mentor
Addax Petroleum Development Corporation Nigeria Ltd Lagos, Nigeria
Assisted local staff with technical issues related to reservoir engineering and use of software including OFM, MBAL and Eclipse.
Provided training for local staff including arranging tutoring sessions on such topics as well log impetration and quality control, down-hole sampling, and use of PVTi, Schlumberger’s analysis program.
Generated Integrated Field Development Plan for OML-123, incorporating existing production and facilities with ongoing and planned developments in one coordinated document.
Updated Kita FDP to incorporate the results of additional appraisal drilling.
Senior Reservoir Engineer
Addax Petroleum Services Geneva, Switzerland
Increased production from 400BOPD to 7900BOPD and increased reserves by 3MMBO for the Adanga Main Offshore Nigeria field by updating Eclipse model for the Adanga Main offshore to match results of appraisal drilling campaign. Revised development plans to include additional drilling and re-designed water injection program to account for current well conditions and platform constraints. Provided support for drilling operations during implementation of the revised development plan.
History matched Eclipse model for the Adanga South field, offshore Nigeria, generating three new production well locations and one additional water injection location.
Built eclipse models of the Greater Kita area and Antan field. Prepared field preliminary field development plans for the area, to be finalized after the drilling of an additional appraisal well. (Kita field now online)
Constructed Eclipse model of the Greater Ebughu field offshore Nigeria. Generated potential drilling locations and assisted in the Application to Drill process
Presented results for all field studies both internally and to third party reserve auditors for inclusion in the company’s reserve base.
Performed surveillance and day to day operations support and maintained reserve estimates for eight fields.
Schlumberger 1998-2003
Lead Simulation Engineer
DCS, Port Harcourt, Nigeria
Built Eclipse model for the Jisike-Izombi filed, onshore Nigeria. Analyzed various development scenarios including water injection and the implementation of gas lift.
Generated field development plan for the Setu and. Okoro fields, offshore Nigeria. Worked with lease owner to market development prospect to potential partners and lending institutions. Prepared input for inclusion in Indigo Poole prospect database.
Provided production forecasting and economic analysis for nine offshore blocks in the Joint Development Zone (between Nigeria and Sao Tome Principal) for use by indigenous Nigerian companies in bidding for exploration rights. Project won internal ‘Excellence in Action Award’.
Advanced Completions, Rosharon
Built Eclipse 200 models using the multi-segmented well option. Formulated conceptual models for demonstration purposes and for inclusion in future course materials. Analyzed wells in Norway, India and Venezuela for applicability of down hole control devices.
H-RT, Houston
Built Eclipse 300 model for non-producing Kupe field offshore New Zealand. Analyzed various development scenarios including straight depletion and gas cycling. Ran sensitivities addressing unknowns such as aquifer strength and the sealing vs. non-sealing faults.
Updated existing model for the Yombo field, offshore Congo. Incorporated new wells and made predictions for various combinations of new producers and injectors. Prepared displays to allow client to design a cased hole logging program and compare production logging data to simulation results.
Analyzed DST, RFT, PVT and special core analysis data for the Kerisi and Hiu fields, offshore Indonesia. Calculated probabilistically based STOIIP and OGIP for the two undeveloped fields. Determined optimal locations for delineation wells along with the potential for proving additional reserves.
Performed History match and made predictions for the E. Dacion Deep field in Venezuela. Prepared a prioritized list of development well locations.
Taught the basic E-100 course to groups from China and Indonesia.

PGS Reservoir, Venezuela 1997-1998
Senior Reservoir Engineer
Performed simulation studies on the B-6-X 10 Sand waterflood including generation of all engineering data. Reviewed previous relative permeability and generated PVT and other analyses. History matched the behavior of the reservoir and made predictions covering expansion of the waterflood, gas injection and the WAG process using ECLIPSE.
Improved Petroleum Recovery, Dallas 1995-1997
Lead Simulation Engineer
Acted as group leader for the Bobi, Dhamarkhi, Mithrao and Chak -5 Dim So. Fields in Pakistan. Generated all reservoir engineering analysis, including PVT properties for a highly volatile oil zone and rich gas zones, relative permeability and material balance work. Ran simulations on the fields using ECLIPSE 200 with the GI option. Generated and presented an integrated field development plan including recommendations for development wells, gas cycling, enhanced surface facilities, LPG plant and gas pipelines.
Managed the simulation study of the Roumelan Field in Syria through the initialization phase. Coordinated geologic, geophysical and petrophysical interpretations and data gathering. Prepared all basic reservoir data and input for the computer model.
Responsible for history matching and forecasting of Sono, Daru and Lashari fields in Pakistan and history match of coarse grid model for the multi-billion barrel Soudie field, Syria using DUAL-GEM black oil simulator.
Made prediction runs including CO2 injection case for the fracture dominated Tichrine field, Syria.
Shell, Nigeria 1991-1994
Reservoir Engineering Consultant
Provided reservoir engineering input for the Odidi Field Development Plan. Calculated proved developed reserves in 370 MMstb, and 2 TCF field with 60 reservoirs and proposed additional drilling, workovers, enhancement of surface facilities and gas utilization plan.
Supervised third party personnel and participated in history match phase of ECLIPSE simulation study to determine the optimal positioning of horizontal wells in layered systems in the Niger Delta. Screened reservoirs in SPDC’s Western Division for potential horizontal well candidates.
Conducted reserves review of Odidi, Batan and Ajuju fields for reserve additions bonus adding in excess of 65 MM stb. General reservoir surveillance, screening of workover and stimulation candidates and reserve determination for Odidi, Escravos Beach, Batan, Ajuju, Ubefan and Opomoyo fields.
