My teaching method is very grounded upon the needs of the individual student. Whether you're traveling for work or pleasure, looking to brush up on your conversation skills, or want to hit the grammar head-on, I will develop exercises to address your personal objectives.
I am an unabashed Francophile & former expatriate currently living in Pasadena. For 2.5 years, I studied French grammar, pronunciation, and conversation for 20 hours per week at La Sorbonne, attaining the ‘Niveau Supérieur,’ the highest recognized level of fluency for non-native speakers. In addition to my studies, I lived and worked in a fully immersive environment in Paris, permitting me to acquire a knowledge of everyday speech, including commonly used expressions and slang.
Since returning from France, I have spent over a year teaching French as a tutor, providing one-on-one French lessons, and tailoring a personalized curriculum catering to each individual’s distinct language goals.
Lessons in Pasadena & the surrounding areas will not require an additional fee. Travel over 10 miles will be charged a $10 surcharge.
