I am quite passionate and enthusiastic about chemistry and love to see younger students find interest in the field. I have always enjoyed helping others learn and being able to share my knowledge about the subject. Over the years I have found that the best way to truly understand chemistry is through gaining fundamental knowledge about the subject, using that information to work backwards in problems from answer to question, and then ultimately working back through similar problems obtaining the answer on your own. My goal is to keep learning fun and interesting and to relate the information to real and practical applications so that they can see the purpose behind it all.
I am a chemist that has been tutoring students and peers since my freshman year (2009). I have taught individually as well as in small group settings. I specialize in physical/general and analytical chemistry and am very knowledgeable in mathematics ranging from simple arithmatic to calculus and differential equations. I am currently involved in research at Wilkes University studying the mechanisms of plasma chemistry.

I have worked and known Darren for a few years, as I was his store manager. Darren has an incredible work ethic that stems from his passion to help people and only heightened by his empathy for people and things around him.
Darren was my tutor for chemistry throughout high school and college. He is super patient, a chemistry genius, and knows how to break things down in simplest form to help you understand it best!
