My teaching method is multi-faceted. I use videos, hand-made worksheets, powerpoints, and create flashcards and practice tests for my students. If a session is 1 hour long, I will use the first 15 minutes to do an overview of information about what will be covered that day, then use the remainder of the time with active learning opportunities.
I have a Bachelor's of Education in Health Science Studies with a Pre-Medical track from Baylor University. I am currently a graduate student obtaining my Masters in Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science center. I have worked as an AVID tutor in Texas and am currently working with ReadingPartners Fort Worth to increase community literacy.
Cancellation less than 24 hours prior, you must pay for half the session
If I travel more than 15 miles, I charge an extra $5 for gas.
