Methodology

I always believe in interactive learning by coding number of examples to make the student better understanding the concept. My teaching philosophy is that of facilitating the attainment of the learner's desired outcomes.

My background is Nursing, i have completed my B.Sc Nursing from 2004 to 2008. And i have finished my post graduation in the year of 2012. And recently completed my phd holder in nursing. I have 8 years of teaching experience in the same field.

CAREER OBJECTIVE:
Seeking a challenging position in nursing education, so as to share and enrich my knowledge and skills and to work in a professional environment that utilizes my potential to the fullest and helps me to cope up with the latest technologies.

RESEARCH INTEREST:
I became interested is in nursing research after attending various research conferences on health disparities. My research and teaching background is in Psychiatric nursing interventions. A secondary research interest is Inter professional Education and Practice, and the student and patient outcomes resulting from those collaborations. My current research involves the “Different treatment options for mental retardation and follow up care”. My research interests focus on Qualitative Research: discourse/narrative approaches, Client accounts of healthcare experiences, Internet based research, Post’ critiques applied to healthcare, stigmatization, self management of mental health care, Mental Health Nursing (esp. CAMH), continued research and development of complementary and alternative medicine, in addition to improved methods in identifying and treating mental illness in minority adolescents and young adults.

2 years of clinical experience after graduation and continuing in the same field after post- graduation from 01-08-2012.
• I have gained in depth experience pertaining to the assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of various medical and surgical disorders and psychiatric disorders during the course of routine clinical postings at the Sri Venkateswara institute of medical sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati A.P. from 2004-2008 and NIMHANS, Bangalore & Govt. Hospital, Tirupati. A.P from 2010-2012.
• Worked as Nurse for 2 years after graduation. During this period, I have gained the experience of various exposures to different disease conditions and their management.
• And continuing as an Asst. Lecturer after post-graduation with good confidence in teaching.
