During my 13 years of teaching English, my efforts have focused on how to best support and motivate students to sustain their continuing development. I use the communicative approach whenever possible, thus students learn by activity participating in the lessons I develop. I make classes fun (when needed) and always interesting (a necessity). My students learn.
Along with my B.A. in English Communications, I taught Academic Writing and English Literature courses at an internationally ranked university in Saudi Arabia with 40,000 students for eight years. I instructed middle-grade and high school students in Japan and South Korea. In Taiwan, I taught test strategies and how to improve each student’s overall reading and writing skills while taking the TOEFL Exam.
