When helping someone overcome a road block in learning, I believe in approaching the topic from a different angle until one works. Visual, auditory, and tactile styles can all be used to find one that works. I have used whiteboards for repetition, color coded diagrams, analogies, and more to look at the information from all angles. Everyone learns in a unique way and at a unique pace. This should be embraced and used to its full potential. When learning is exciting and dynamic it goes from feeling like a chore to feeling rewarding and instilling pride in oneself.
I am a newly graduated Doctor of Pharmacy with experience tutoring fellow college students. I also have 3 years experience in child care and would like to offer tutoring to younger children as well. I specialize in biology, anatomy and pathophysiology, medicine, and English but also have graduate student experience in math, chemistry, and social studies. I hold a Pharm.D awarded with honors from MCPHS University in Boston, MA. I also have over 10 years experience in crochet and knit and would be willing to offer lessons in handicrafts.

I went through a Doctorate of Pharmacy program with Rosa, and she was invaluable during exam weeks. She understands seemingly every subject, especially when it comes to science! I've never had a tutor who was so patient and good at explaining things in multiple ways so that even the most complicated subjects seem simple. She's half the reason I have a degree!
