I base my classes on things that have worked for me in classes I've taken. I like to pull from books like The Actor and the Target and The Gister Medthod. I am not an advocate for method acting. I believe that acting should be something you can jump in and out of, there's the character and the actor stepping into them.
I am currently a rising sophomore at Ithaca College. There, I am pursuing a BFA in Acting with minors in Writing for TV, Film, and Emerging Media and African Diaspora Studies. I have won two awards from the National YoungArts Foundation in theatre and created my own web series (The Lucky Few on Youtube). I have been doing theatre since the 8th grade and have been studying consistently ever since. I believe that acting is a journey without a destination. Acting is a muscle you continue to stretch throughout your life.
