My teaching method is completely student-oriented I can teach a broad overview of many different media depending on the student's interest, or just focus on a specific subject that the student would like to learn more about. Because art is a subject that everyone can learn and there is no right or wrong I leave it up to the students so they can get the most out of my lessons.
I use various painting mediums but mostlt avrylic and water colors. I provide a strong foundation in drawing. Classes would be for 60 to 90 minutes. I teach primary and secondary school age student but also high school and adults.
I use both verbal and visual teaching methods. I am very flexible with teaching styles and am willing to cater to different individual's preferred learning methods. I am a self & University taught in arts & studied many different mediums, but I gravitate towards the more craftier or folksy side of the arts spectrum I would say. I can teach just about any media or medium a student is interested in at any level in art, but my personal style is more in the abstract range.
Graduated high school with honor cords as Vice President of National Honor Society, currently attending college. Characteristics consist of being open minded, free spirited, curious, entertaining, and chatty. Depending on students’ self-discipline, overall lesson structure may be lose or strict.
I would approach my classes based on which subject in art it is that I am teaching since each medium has a different set of basic skills to build upon. For any of them I would start with a simple mark making and from there dive into the basic elements of that medium so that people of all skill levels would have room to grow when teaching simple or more difficult tasks.
I'm a laid back instructor who loves to help beginning artists build confidence in art step by step. We would start out with a basic foundation of drawing basic shapes, shading and skeletal line drawing for the human figure. With painting we would first by learning to mixing colors, then coloring basic shapes with various brush techniques.
In the past when I have been asked to show somebody how to execute a certain technique, I always go ahead and demonstrate visually, and explain my process or way of thinking as I am doing this.
I believe in the personal unique artistic voice of each student developed through technical mastery and work. Although each student has a different skill set and level, each student can harness their creativity through their own personal experience.
My teaching method is to help children find their artistic voice from different mediums of art. Experimenting is my main focus, experimenting is central to the arts, and is frequently used in making connections between the concrete and the abstract.
I can be hyper involved when I need to be, but I believe its important to step back and guide through mistakes. I've learned through experience that its important to know when to step back, for a more productive lesson.
I adored art in school, taking three classes my senior year participating in two advanced art classes and one Student-Teacher class! Art has always been a hobby for me and it comes naturally.
My art style is relaxed and aim toward someone who would like to have fun, learn about art/create a school project. Beginner would benefit most, as would those seeking a new hobby.
The essence of painting is expression and I enable the same by helping with tips, tricks and guidance as per the level of the painter while retaining the painter's own judgement and exploration. I am comcomfortable with any social media and can come in person if close to my place.
I would like to form a clear goal/goals that will be accomplished by the end of the class. I believe in providing an open environment for students where they feel comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns in front of the class and myself. I would like to get to know my students skills, strengths, and weaknesses and work from there.
I base my classes on what each individual student is looking to gain from the class. Whether that be learning a new style or just learning basics of art and design! I can provide different mediums of teaching as well (pen and paper, colored pencil, marker, computer programs like Adobe Creative Suite).
My teaching method is to go step by step with each student. I would like to gage what each student's personal needs are and adhere to those. I believe the best ways of teaching are by showing as well as thorough explanation.
I am an interactive teacher with a clear end-goal. I believe students need to be encouraged and corrected in order to achieve a product they are proud of. I also believe a learners' attitude is key to succeed in my class.
My teaching method is student centered. With careful assessment a student's strengths, weaknesses and needs, I construct a plan to aide student reach their full potential. My lessons are based upon adherence to requirements and standards as well as student's desires.

I teach by example using a hands-on approach. My method is very direct and allows for the student to learn with actual practice. I give the students the tools to succeed and then give them freedom to create artwork that they want to create.
I believe strongly that often our drawings do not turn out the way we want because we are drawing based on our mental perception of what something SHOULD look like, but not what it actually looks like.
My teaching method is really personalised because i want to understand very well all of the art tecnics and individual process about my students, so but i have 6 moduls that i used for the base to teach the basic about creative process.

I am an art educator that has experience in teaching all age levels in drawing and painting. Blooms' taxonomy is used, a strong foundation is created and lessons build on each other. I first determine the level at which students are working and build on those skills.
I will base my classes on having fun using expression and learning something. First, we would start off basic to see what level you are at and work from there. I think that it is important to not get bored so it will always be an interesting time.
I love to have fun with every piece of art I make. I am very attentive to the details that matter. I would to think that there is no age limit on who can enjoy painting. Everyone can find something that they love to do.
