BS Degree in Elementary Education at South Carolina State University; Orangeburg SC- 1985 Masters Degree in Education at Francis Marion University; Florence SC- 2005 All students can learn when they put their heart and mind into it! I work with students from grades 1st-9th: Math
I have done engineering in Mechanical in the year 2009.I have a total of 8 years of experience into software development.I am working as a data scientist with Bank Of America. I am well versed in Mathematics and computer.I have 3 years of online teaching experience.
I am an Undergraduate B.Tech in Biotechnology with Silver medal, earned Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and LecturerShip from my country with rank within 50. Qualified several State level and national level competitive examinations. Trained at various R &D for summer training.
I would like to give lessons to those in high school, or those seeking help in lower level college math classes. I like to keep my lessons low pressure with a friendly atmosphere and work closely with students to arrive at our answers together.
My teaching method focuses on intense practice. I start with the easiest examples to build the concept, then I move onto the more complex ones so that confidence can be built. The more students understand the complex questions, the quicker they will resolve the easier ones.
My approach is to state the facts and let the interpretation commence in the learners mind. Coming up with an answer is much more rewarding alone than being handed the solution. I like to feed the student clues rather than giving the answer and working backwards to get to the solution.
I am very non-traditional. I believe the key to helping someone grow is first building a relationship with that person to learn about who they are, what their goals are, and what they believe they need help with. It's important to me that I can help students identify exactly what they need to move to the next level.
The first thing is meeting a student where they are and understanding their disconnect- what it is that they do not understand about what they are trying to learn. Once learning the disconnect, it is a matter of breaking the material down and helping them to learn step by step. Patience is key in helping others to learn.
I am a Materials Scientist with a Ph.D. and have decade of experience in developing novel materials for engineering applications. I have taught engineering mathematics and materials science classes to undergraduate and graduate students. I believe in teaching fundamentals and applying that knowledge to answer real world problems.
My teaching methodology includes a skills assessment to identify areas of intervention and focus. Once targeted skills are identified and student learning style has be determined, a lesson plan is created to teach the most critical areas of need and to sharpen skills that will enable students to achieve growth and success.
I give lessons to anyone in need. I prefer to not have a set lesson plan for everyone because I like to feel the person out and their way of learning first to understand the best way to approach the situation.
I am an engineer by training. I have a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D in Agricultural Engineering. I have taken mathematics classes up to the graduate student level. My first 2 degrees were from North Carolina State University, and I achieved my Ph.D at Colorado State University.
Provided individualized support for students that are struggling with learning concepts. Offered students homework and boot camp to help student improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Outstanding classroom organizational skills to bring in focus and attention.
I try to teach the content in a way that is relatable to students. As a recent graduate I know what students go through and the mindsets and mentalities that go along with being in school.
I approach by topic, and lesson. First I make sure that the student has enough basic knowledge to study the following chapter. If not then I start from the basics and make sure that he/she understands what I am teaching.

I offer examples to help pinpoint where a student is stuck or having difficulty. I help them overcome their fear due to their age or lack of confidence. Repetition and recognition of key ideas and working examples together builds clarity. Tutoring is less lecturing and more listening, finding understandings and building on them in the right order and at the right pace.

Hello. My name is Deepa Chadha. I am excited to get back to the area of tutoring students. I worked as a pediatric occupational therapist in the past with children from 2-17 years of age. During this time, I also had the wonderful opportunity of tutoring students at various grades levels.

I'm currently an university student studying computer science. I give lesson to high-school and college students. My method of instruction is by going step by step though the problem. Then I give them a practice problem to see if they understand it.
I have a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance and International Business and I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Project Management. Academically, tutoring is limited from primary - high school. In terms of extracurricular activities, I teach dance (hip hop, African, & Caribbean), and volleyball.
My teaching method is different depending on who I am working with. Everyone has a different type of learning and I base on my methods depending on the type that works with the person. One thing I certainly do with everyone is, relating the subject being discussed about to real life scenarios so that it is easy to comprehend.
My teaching method varies to every learner. It is important for me to assess my student first before employing the best strategy for him/her. I want my student to participate in the discussion and letting them express their opinion as to how to solve a certain problem.
I graduated from high school at age fifteen, excelling in math and English studies. I have been tutoring friends and clients for quite a while. The majority of individuals whom I have tutored were in high school; however, I do offer my services for primary and middle school students, as well as high school graduates looking to up their scores on the SAT.
I have three years of teaching experience abroad and several years of tutoring experience in math and sciences. My expertise is in math levels below Calculus and in SAT Prep. I have a perfect SAT math score and can help with your foundations.
My teaching method is to break down the problems and develop a repeatable order of operations. I am also sure to go back and fill in any holes the student may have in their math foundation. I approach every topic by first relating its practical application to real world industry then to show a step by step approach to solving.
I have a B.S. Elementary education and special education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
