My lessons put to use a progressive approach to learning, as I stray from "lecturing" and lean towards equally involved discussion between the student(s) and myself. I have found that this is the most productive, efficient approach to learning. However, I will certainly adapt my teaching style to match your learning style.
My lesson structure involves speaking, reading, writing and listening practice. As a tutor, I am patient, punctual and spend a lot of time making lessons that fit the needs of my students. I truly enjoy helping students communicate in Spanish.
I believe that everybody can learn anything, as long as the teacher understands what they're teaching and can related to everybody at any level. I grew up with ADHD and I know the frustrations of a learning disability. It does not make you stupid, it makes you incredible to have a different ability to learn.
My teaching method is to first understand what the person is currently doing and then see areas we can grow on. Also, I gain an understanding of who they are as a person so that the approach I give them is tailored towards them.

My philosophy is: You do not have to be smart to understand mathematics, but you must be willing to practice. I believe in "hands on " methodology. I will start by teaching how to use a ruler! well, depends on where my student stands! If I have to spoon feed you I will. If I have to repeat myself 100 times, I will. But I won't give up.
My teaching method is mainly based off on hands-on comprehension, because that style of teaching is often compromised for larger class sizes yet can greatly help struggling students with comprehension and fluency within their course.

My teaching is based primarily on what the student is there to learn. Every student, young or old, wants to start playing guitar for some specific reason so I try to base it off that and tailor the lessons accordingly. In the case of younger beginners however I may start with the fundamentals of how to read music and advance from there.
