I am a recent doctoral graduate of UTEP (Ph.D. in Pathobiology), giving biology lessons to anyone aged 13 to 113.
I have taught theory for years. BUT many think it is just a bunch of rules. THERE'S MORE. Through CONVERSATION, we will explore these concepts. We'll begin at your current understanding then journey together.
I have worked in a primary school and work with 6th graders and have assisted them vocabulary development and English emersion.
I've been teaching for over a decade, various students, various levels, various needs and various subjects. There's nothing I love more though than teaching languages! Depending on a level I combine grammar fundamentals with creative ways of learning vocabulary and a fair share of good old conversation.
I base my approach and I plan my lectures based on the student and what their needs or goals are with learning the language. I am a firm believer that each individual has different learning styles, and I am willing to work closely with the student to see what approach fits best.
I have always been determined when it came to my own academics and sports skills. Now I’m blessed and fortunate to be in the position where I can pass on knowledge and techniques with the future of our society. Efficiency is the main recipe for success.
My focus is to make learning a science course less painful and break down the jargon for you, whether that's through anecdotes, mnemonics, or pictures. However, I believe that the best learning process is for you to be actively involved by attempting to solve problems, answering questions. With patience, I'm sure that you will come out with a firm grasp on the subject.
As mentioned before, I am a high school English teacher and I want to encourage my students to read and write more. Practice makes perfect so there will be ample opportunities to work on weaknesses in new and different ways. Learning is a two-way street and I expect students to be able to communicate with me when things are not working so it can be revised to their needs.
My teaching method is to break down concepts into subtopics and then tackle each subtopic. I also like to be visual and tactile using drawing and manipulatives to teach. As a teacher, I used a project-based learning model. I also like to use humor when teaching.
I'm currently a student of philosophy at the American Military University, but I've an even greater knowledge of history, especially military history, which has come from a lifetime of dedicated study. I am not an armchair general or anything of the sort, but I've more than enough knowledge on the subjects of history and philosophy to educate anyone save graduate students.
I have a master degree, which gave me the skills to teach different levels of complexity. I have a lot of patient to teach, i also like to adjust the teaching method according with the personality of student and do not force them to enjoy a way they will not be comfortable with.
I can be very flexible with respect to the methodology I use with each different student according to his or her particular needs. We can try to focus on building vocabulary, oral expression, written expression, etcetera. I am especially skilled when it comes to translating something from English to Spanish, which will be most useful when you want to improve your vocabulary.
My favorite teaching method is working out a problem while explaining it both verbally and visually (with diagrams and/or graphs, depending on the specific problem); and sometimes I also like to use the Socratic Method, which consists of asking questions to the students that will make them figure out the solutions on their own.
I give lessons to Elementary and Middle School students. Depending on your needs I will help you study and do your homework. I will help you understand what your teacher is asking and will help you learn how to do whatever is being asked of you on your own.
I enjoy teaching students, focusing on creativity first and technique second. While technique is an important part in my lessons my focus is to not let it snuff out my students ability to creatively problem solve. Creative problem solving is the core to the art field and will take the student further no matter their skill level.
Lots of problem solving, from simple problems to much more complex ones. Sometimes use of videos or supplementary information. The student is involved, increasing his or her self-confidence, and convincing him or her that they have the power to achieve it, if they apply themselves. Ability is the result of resolve and hardwork.
Complete involvement and immersion of the student in the discipline. I start from the intuitive to the abstraction. Constructivistic approach. Lots of problem solving and situational activities to show why the concept is required and where to use it. I will not change subject until it is clear to me that the student has undertood the relevance of the concept, meaning, and use.
I help students with the problems or concepts they are having difficulty with patience and passion to help. I will use ways that help me to grasp the concept while being open to explaining in different ways if not understood.
My teaching methodology is always student specific. I try to evaluate the strength, weakness and formulate my teaching material and approach as per the need of the student. Also, I would like to assess my students every week to evaluate the progress of student.
As a successful professional executive in the business world, I can provide students, current workers, and those seeking career transitions with advice and coaching on job searching, and offer resume reviews. I can also do job interview role playing and evaluation.
I like to use real world situations while I am teaching.
At Kumon, I learned to approach most students with a "self-learning" technique, however, I find that technique is not best for everyone. I would much rather pick up on a personalized approach in accordance with the student's own personal skills and needs, whether that be with more guidance and assistance, or with greater independence.

I will explain to you step by step with great patience in everything and how to improve your life in every aspect with a lot of many mind techniques. I was a teacher in two Medical School for several years and I love to teach.
I approach each topic with my students needs in mind. Each student requires a different teaching strategy and I always try to adapt my strategy to their needs, rather than making them adapt. With my degree and my experience in tutoring, I have been able to relate to all my students and find ways to work that best suite each student.
I'm a soon-to-be-teacher who loves to help students grow as they learn. I'm just a big kid with a big heart! I have been tutoring for the past five years and I fell in love with the idea of wanting to help our future generations (doctors, engineers, scientists, etc). My teaching techniques is very student orientated as I primary focus on their strengths and weaknesses.
I currently tutor high school and early college students. I have various techniques depending on student's learning method; oral, verbal, kinesthetic.
