Over the years I have experienced just about every way there is to learn and improve my Spanish. Countless worksheets, exercises and flashcards helped with certain parts of my language abilities, but seemed to neglect others. I work by creating a lesson plan that takes the most useful parts of those methods, and incorporates them into a quick and easy warm up for the day.
I am willing to provide lessons for any level and will tailor them to the individual. I am very flexible and understand that people learn in different ways, so the first thing we will do is develop a lesson plan that benefits you. This is not a classroom, so we have the freedom to learn in the way that makes the most sense to you.
I base my classes on catching up on the topic that they did not understand in their school. I used to set up two meetings per week and discuss with students- reviewing the class material, such as recreating a small "interactive lecture." In this way of the lecture, students can be involved in the process of understanding the question and elements.
I would characterize my teaching methodology as very interactive. Rather than just throwing out content about a specific concept, I would rather sit down and work through problems with you to gauge your understanding of the concept. Typically, I would assign some sort of "homework" where I ask the student to do some prior research and initial investigation prior to the lesson.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Biology from Ursinus College, PA. My method of teaching is focused on first answering any questions/clarifying difficult concepts followed by having the student teach what they learned back to me. Teaching is one of the best forms of studying possible.
I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of South Alabama in 2012. My method is based on making sure the student understands base concepts to be able to build a strong understanding of why things work, not just how they work. I teach mainly by working through a variety of example problems to assure that the student is exam and laboratory ready.

I believe that just like most things, tennis is best taught on a "by individual" basis. Meaning, it is important to establish a trust and understanding of how each player should best be served tennis instruction. I would describe my teaching style as energetic, quick, and rooted in fun.
BS/BA Physics and Applied Mathematics Evergreen State College 2018 AS Electrical Engineering Seattle Central College 2015 Born in Seattle 1985 I strive to meet each person where they are at. My teaching methodology is to ensure that the student interacts with the material, and does not simply regurgitate it. I want to develop a love for the Spanish language in all of my students, as well as a love of words and learning. I do this via an interactive teaching style that emphasizes a deep understanding and love of the topic.

You are the student, and you need to be motivated to succeed. I help motivate my students by making classes meaningful but also fun. I try to find relevant teaching material to keep your interest and invite open discussion of the language and themes explored in texts and how these themes and topics are relevant today. B.S. in biology and environmental studies with a concentration in ecology. Degree obtained from Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg Florida. My preferred teaching technique is with outdoor learning and applying what is in the textbook and put it in the real world. Science is best understood once you can connect those definitions to a tangible experiment.
I teach how to play the piano, bass and guitar by teaching music theory (how sound works) and focus on the genre that the student likes most. The student becomes a complete musician through ear training, reading, and improvising.
I like to approach learning by breaking down the subject matter. I use a lot of scaffolding to help students reach the skills they need. Building confidence is also important to me, so I look for ways that a student can be successful as they work.
I approach each student differently, I like to be very involved and pick the brains of my students, make suggestions for future possibilities, etc.. I have a very different thought process than the generic guitar instructor/ teacher.
I first try to understand the learning styles that function best for the student and base my teaching style around those. I encourage active participation, questions, and discussion, and do my best to show my genuine passion for these subjects.
My teaching approach may vary depending on the kind of learner present. Nevertheless, I usually make sure that students have the experiential leaarning with which they learn by doing. I can provide self-made activities and worksheets for practice. I can also let the students really use the language during role-plays with varied real-life situations.
I like to style my teaching method around each student individually. Some students learn best by incorporating visual aids such as videos or flow charts; whereas others need to turn studying into a game; still overs learn best by simply being about to 'talk out' the topics. I think it is important for each person to find what works best for them, as this is the best way for one to succeed.
Music as a subject is very active. Whatever the specific topic it is important to learn each music concept in terms of visual and audible representation. Being able to connect the body's involvement, to an instrument , to the corresponding notation is very important and achievable through practice and one on one instruction.
