I use visuals and easy-to-memorize concepts to help students remember words and their meanings. I have taught students from third grade, to college levels. Whether you are looking to learn French conversations or write a paper in French, I can give you the tools, and the knowledge you need to do so.
My motto as an educator is, “If they’re not learning, you’re not teaching.” This idea is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I am most interested in the teaching and learning process and how the traditional limits of these pursuits can be challenged.
I like taking the time to analyze people that I am teaching to even if it's my friends, to know what type of method would help thzm to understand fast. Everbody learns a different way, so I would first figure out how you learn, then I would adjust to your ways to give you the best classes and best understanding.
All ages welcome! My teaching style will help you gain language naturally. I value the "learning by doing" method. We will mostly communicate in the target language. Conversations will encompass various everyday topics and subjects to diversify your language input.
I was born to two different parents. One speaks french and the other Arabic. My urdu/Hindi is pretty impressive, I’ve learned it myself. My methodology is self explanatory .
I will make you work! But, we can have a little fun along the way as well - as you prefer. My classes are entirely tailored to your needs, interests, level, and learning style. My classes are structured and comprehensive: at different times we will focus on progressively strengthening grammar structures, building vocabulary, building fluency, comprehension, and more.
Repetition is the mother of all learning. I chose this methodology because it emphasizes drill work in order to make answers to questions instinctive and automatic. New forms are first heard by students, with written forms coming only after extensive drilling. The language used for these drills is based on what is required for practicing the specific form; it might or might not be natural.
My teaching method is to keep the end goal in mind and build the tutoring around the students levels of language proficiency from beginning to more advanced. I base my sessions on the specific needs of each student to build their confidence and esteem.
My lessons are guaranteed to build your confidence and get you ahead. The content and style is adapted to best suite your needs and your level. Lessons are relevant and interesting.
Hello! My name is Denise, and I am available to give Arabic language instruction (speaking, reading, writing) to students of all levels. I work in small groups (max 4 people) to meet at minimum 1x per week. The crux of my methodology is 100% immersion. We will never EVER use English together.
I have been teaching English as a second language for 12 years at the adult school and college level. I like to expose students to different learning styles and offer a positive and healthy environment for students to learn and grow.
My previous students come from a variety of groups including elementary to high school students, college students, graduate students, adults, etc.., anyone who interested in learning Vietnamese. The majority of my lessons was conducted online. Sometimes, I do tutor in person if the travel radius allowed me to go.
My teaching methods have been said to be very fun, energetic and to sum it up kinesthetic. I take the first meeting with student as a pre curser to my lesson structure for him/her. I then base my plan off of that.
I base my classes on repetition and following the rubric. First by outlining, organizing, and following the prompt if needed. Everyone can write, however, getting what's on your mind across to others is no easy task. I can help.
my approach to teaching language focuses on improving the student's ability to communicate in Spanish. Each session includes vocabulary, grammar and lots of oral practice, you will notice that you will progress quickly in the Spanish language.
Each student approaches foreign language education with their own jumble of motivations, skills, interests and personal experiences. Some will have a natural ear for language while others will struggle.
I believe that learning should be fun and applicable to situations we come across in our daily lives. My goal as a tutor is to both help my students excel academically, and prepare them for any situations in their personal and future professional lives where they could need to apply their Spanish skills.
My teaching approach is based on student needs and objectives. I teach based on learning styles and comprehension rates, giving my students the proper, fun lesson plans they need to reach their individual goals. My students are from all walks of life and all have different objectives for learning Spanish. I do my best to reach my students' needs.
My teaching methods are very simple, we start with a test to valuate the student’s level, than we start with the basics, grammar and vocabulary...
Carolina is an excellent teacher for the Spanish language. She is a native speaker from Colombia and her speaking and pronunciation are easy to understand. She also has a professional background in teaching. She provides very useful lessons and speaks Spanish only. In the past 6 months I have improved greatly in my Spanish listening and comprehension skills thanks to Carolina.
I take notice of every student's individual nuances: their attitude, their energy, their likes and their dislikes. I use this information to better assist them in meeting the goals that they or their parents have. When it comes to tutoring I simply prefer a more individualized approach.
I teach elementary/intermediate French in similar styles. I teach grammatical concepts as the basis of each lesson and then add on vocabulary. Often I prepare games for students to recall vocabulary and practice writing/speaking it. I focus on the student producing the language rather than passively absorbing it (although they will listen to me speak French quite a bit as well).
I base my classes on learner-based outcomes, which means I pay attention to the unique aspects of each class that I teach. I encourage discussion and peer-to-peer interaction and practice. That is the best way to understand and learn any language--practicing with those who understand what you are going through. I encourage students to not be afraid to make a mistake.
My teaching technique is based on exchanges and free reflection on different subjects. For me, the most important thing is not to add knowledge to each other, but to learn about it and know how and when to use it.
I am a speech-language pathologist who has been practicing for a year. I have extensive practicum experiences with students with language-based learning disabilities, as well as other diagnoses that impede their learning such as ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia and pragmatic challenges. I can provide lessons to students of all ages with any sort of learning or language difficulties.
With French, I prefer immersive learning and try to avoid using English as much as possible. I believe that repetitive exercises are effective for foreign language acquisition. For this reason, I believe it is incredibly important that each student use a workbook of some sort--and I can certainly recommend some great options.
Without a doubt my forte is storytelling, my style is a hybrid between a lecture and a discussion method. In all my classes –no matter the grade or subject to teach- I open with a question and a follow up story, anecdote or latest news to introduce the theme of the day, inviting students to ponder questions, encouraging participation and teamwork.
My teaching philosophy is patience, guidance, encouragement, and respect are the ways to achieve academic success. As an educator, my goal is to ensure that every student has a learning environment where they feel optimistic, enthusiastic and supported. Also, I believe in keeping each tutoring session professional and confidential with mutual respect and collaboration between tutor and the student.
My teaching methodology is inquiry based. As an educator I understand that the very root of the word education is 'educare' which means to bring up. So as an educator my approach is to provide instruction by asking questions that trigger curiousity and thinking about their own ideas, writing, and language acquisition.
I also to use repetition. I show the concepts first and I have students repeat the process until they can understand themselves. I think repetition it is the best way to learn. When I do this method most students understand.
