It depends on the student! I am willing to give hands on instruction to beginners, or for more experienced skiers just ride and give some advice/tips when possible. However you want your day(s) to be spent, I will happily abide.
My teaching method closely applies to some of the same methods of those of the US Ski Team, such as extensive video review of self and others, applications of basic drills as well as complicated drills, and providing more free skiing experience than in gates experience to provide for the best technique building opportunities.
I am able to help any skier improve their technique by focusing on the fundamentals. I have taught kids as young as three.
Depending on the age group in will usually base my lessons with experience and environment. Dealing with children from ages of 5-10 I will be in command for the lesson making sure everybody is safe and learning through practicing as much as possible. The older the client the more I will allow involvement and freedom to done within the lesson.
My lessons start with a lot of theory and then it's practice. I will be breaking down the theory, so it will be as easy as possible to understand.
