I'm drawing tutor. I can teach to draw from "0", if you want to know how to become an artist. Depends on what you want to learn. There is a wide range of trends and genres in the arts. I specializing in human portraits drawing... can give anatomy knowledges and proportions. I give homework my students besides our hours together. It always contributes to progress in drawing.
I teach learners of all ages from K - Adult. My strongest area is reading/ writing and I have 20 years experience. I have a master's in reading instruction and am a certified reading specialist. I also have a degree in special education, concentrating on students with autism and ADHD. I have over 25 years experience in these areas.
My teaching philosophy is that every student learns differently and has different needs. I don't believe in a one size fits all teaching method. I asses each student and create a lesson plan based on their needs and the subject matter being taught.
My methodology is first establishing what the student wants to learn. I think it's important to also first put art in its context of culture and society by discussing "what is art?" This helps the student first understand if there is anything beyond a technical skill that he/she wants to achieve.
In the past when I have been asked to show somebody how to execute a certain technique, I always go ahead and demonstrate visually, and explain my process or way of thinking as I am doing this.
I have one year experience in teaching kids on watercolor, mixed media, comics, and basic drawing & painting. I try to come up with fun and weekly projects and activities that students will learn and enjoy. I am interested in teaching teen~adult for especially watercolor, comics and zines.
I believe in the personal unique artistic voice of each student developed through technical mastery and work. Although each student has a different skill set and level, each student can harness their creativity through their own personal experience.
I can be hyper involved when I need to be, but I believe its important to step back and guide through mistakes. I've learned through experience that its important to know when to step back, for a more productive lesson.
As mentioned, I am an animation major and I am in turn an animated person. I take a hands on approach in my teaching, if I have to I will make funny poses or act things out to describe how to do something. I would love to teach anyone from a novice to intermediate level artists who are eager to learn more and passionate about creativity as much as me.
Dependent on skill levels certain materials can be chosen to initiate a work, whether it be for a sculptural piece using stone, ceramic, wood, or metal. An initial assignment to test the individuals capabilities would be to construct an emotional value (ex: anger , justification, embarrassed , etc.
I will teach you the fundamentals of Drawing such as figure drawing and Anatomy. In addition to that you can learn how to do caricatures and cartoons.
My style of teaching is very visual. I like to show a lot of examples of whichever technique I am discussing, preferably with an in-class demonstration. In order to ensure an understanding of the material, I try to foster back and forth communication during lessons. I love teaching art to others, and so as a tutor I'm generally approachable and enthusiastic.
I am an interactive teacher with a clear end-goal. I believe students need to be encouraged and corrected in order to achieve a product they are proud of. I also believe a learners' attitude is key to succeed in my class.
I enjoy teaching children and young teens/adults the basic and high level skills of different art forms in a free flowing atmosphere. I enjoy letting people create and learn at there own pace, with the help from a teacher or other students.
I understand that every student has a different style of learning, my curriculum will be a combination of visual learning, physical practice, and research. I work with students individually even in group settings to assure each student is getting the most out of the class.
My teaching method focuses on individuals. I typically start with getting to know each student and discovering what their skill level is as well as their goals and ambitions. I want to be sure that our time together is valuable and the information and skills I share will advance each student into the next level.
My teaching method includes demonstrations and active learning exercises for students to internalize specific learning objectives. I provide a historical background for this contemporary field of study and underscore the importance of materials and technique in the creative process. I utilize contemporary delivery methods with images of works of art from around the world and throughout time.
I like to experiment with everyone. I encourage individualism and also refinement, tools and methodologies. I love to utilize graphics for aiding artwork but also for portfolio presentations and resumes. I love to teach graphics, 3d modeling but of course fine art as well. We can work on traditional or experimental and abstract. It's up to you.
My teaching method is absolutely simple and understandable. I give lessons to children from 4- 15 years . I always try to start from the easier levels and gradually proceed towards advanced levels. For me every student is important and i try my best to give an enjoyable and easy lesson.
Since art also communicates stories and thoughts in a nonverbal form, she focuses on the opportunity for kids to display their thoughts, in turn build new neurological pathways for problem solving, express their feelings openly and enjoy the process of creation.
I am usually a hands-on person and a one to one person. I will help you with want you need at the speed you need. I encourage people to contact me as much as possible and ask as many questions possible.
I teach students key skills, enabling them to draw accurately what they see, and design creatively what they imagine. I interact easily with students, from age 15 through adults. I help those students who have natural artistic ability to enhance and broaden their skills, and those who feel they have no artistic talent to successfully develop skills in drawing, painting.
I strongly believe each artist had different perspective for his/her art and various inspirations to pursue art. My teaching involves first understand YOU as an artist and guiding developing your skills towards reaching/landing your dream career. You will learn whole production process from rough sketches to finish portfolio piece.
I am a motivated ambitious teacher and learner, with experience with the different techniques and layouts on drawing, with the passion to learn and teach others about what I am capable of doing.
My teaching method would depend on the student and see where there starting from, talk about what they wish to improve on. I would demonstrate, have them follow and then give advice on how to improve.
I can give lessons to anyone of any age. The basics for art can be easily understood by anyone and even younger children can be taught easily. I begin with evaluations to see what the students already know and can do. Then from there I ask what they want and where they want to get to. We work on those things and I'll even critique their work like universities do.
I'm willing to teach anyone from Freshman to High School Seniors looking for the next big step. Subjects I am strongest to teach are portraits, color theory, anatomy, and character building. I strive to teach how to successfully make a presence online, how to choose the right school (for any interested art subject), as well as what to expect from your academic experience.
I'm a friendly person I am very hands-on I love getting to know each child
Hi! I’ve worked for seven years as a digital artist in a variety of fields like animation, comics and book illustration.
I teach very laidback, but stern. If you want to get the material you have to be open. In art there are no mistakes, but there are things to be warned of.
