I base my classes on my students no two students learn the same way so I try and meet the needs of who I am working with and personalize instruction to help students grow.
I have a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, degree conferred on May 2017. Teaching Philosophy Preparing tomorrow’s professionals and young minds requires the nurturing and development of students who are self-governing, motivated and determined learners.
My education is by taking classes an learning the methodology of how the basic computer works. I recently taught basic computer at a church that needed a teacher. The technique that I use is hands on and interactive.
My teaching methodology focuses on understanding the mathematical concepts. First I explain the subject, then I show a couple of practical applications to demonstrate the value of the math concept. This is important, the student needs to understand that math is not an abstract subject with no practical application.
My teaching method would be learner-centered. From my own personal experience, unless there is a absolute interest or commitment to learning to program it can become boring if they do not see results.
-I can adapt to any situation, I know how what styles work with students and what don't -I like to bring a sense of ease to these sometimes difficult and frustrating topics -Computers are my forte, I promise if you stick with me, you will learn to love computers and how to excel in word ;)
