My teaching methodology is whatever works best for the students! I create an initial framework to start with and then adapt and amend this to help suit the students' learning needs. I am happy to create a variety of different assignments to help students progress through their learning, and like to set mini-goals along the way to help motivate my students.
Both my undergraduate and graduate studies were done in Ball State University. My Bachelor of Science degree consisted of double majors and double minors. My majors were in Biology and Pre-Medicine, while my minors were in Chemistry and Business. Such diverse course of study allowed for my cross discipline knowledge base.
I prefer one-on-one tutoring sessions but I can teach groups too. I start from the fundamental concepts and work up and make it easy and fun to learn.

I like to approach topics by using a visual aid (such as a diagram) and explaining the importance. I also frequently ask the student questions to ensure he/she is understanding the material properly and can apply it. Oftentimes, I will have the student explain a topic to me to ensure he/she is on the right track.
I supplement teaching from the assigned text with real world experience to bring the subject alive to the student.
I am a recent Earlham College graduate, my lessons are engaging and fun. I believe that the best indicator of my quality as a teacher is the success of my students, which is always my main focus. My lessons are personalized for the specific needs of the student, as well as of the subject.
