I'm a scientist by training who just moved to the West Coast from Boston, MA. I would love to help students of any age learn about any type of biology. I will adjust my method of instruction based on the needs of the students, as some students prefer diagrams over texts, or vice versa.
My teaching method always begins with making sure my student fully understands the idea/process behind what I am teaching, than following that with practice until it is mastered. Practice is the only way I found studying to be efficient, and practicing when you understand a subject makes it rather fun than irritating.
My teaching method is very thorough and to the point. When teaching science courses, I like to use visual aids. I am patient with my students, because I want to ensure they understand the material. Once I am finished explaining the material, I like to test the student to see if he or she understands the material by asking them to re-explain the topic to me.
My goal is to create enduring understanding so that you actually master the subject, not just memorize for a test. I do that in a super fun and relaxed atmosphere, using your learning style, as well as the most current brain research about how students actually learn best.
I have bachelors and Master of cellular and molecular geneticist and currently doing my last year of clinical routation in clinical cytogenetic at UCLA. I have 2 thesis in SNP and personilize medicine and more than 3 years of research background and one year of industry work experience.
Me teaching method is I make the lessons seem funner with activities. I don’t like pressuring anyone. Teaching and learning is suppose to be fun. I would approach students with fun activities. Logical strategies. Make them understand with visuals...
Hello. I am an Elementary School education credential student at CSUN. (I earned my BA at UCLA.) I'm one semester away from having a class of my own, and until that time, I would like to use my experience to help your child age 5 through 12 to achieve their highest potential in school. I make learning fun through games and humor. I'm also happy to guide your child through their assignments.
I have a BS from college and a MD. I've had many years of experience teaching at all academic levels in Math Science Language History Health Science Chemistry Accounting both as a private tutor and at schools.
I completed my M.S. in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology in 2014 from the University of Southern California (USC). I completed my B.S. with a double major in Biological Sciences and Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Illinois (UIC) at Chicago in 2011. I actually had the credits for a BS in Mathematics but they would not let me triple major.
I am a second-year undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Spanish. I like to explore new things and master old topics. As a tutor, my goal is to allow my pupils to understand the course material, learn effective study strategies for future classes, and perform well on assignments.
I am a fourth year student at UCLA studying molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. I have taken the MCAT and am currently in the process of applying to medical school and graduate programs, so I can help out with that as well.
I have a bachelor of science degree in Biology and I completed my undergrad thesis in microbiology and cell biology disciplines. I give lessons to middle school and high school students looking for reinforcement of the principles taught in biology, AP bio, anatomy, zoology, animal physiology, microbiology, and cell biology.
I attended UCLA on a full-ride from the Stamps Family Foundation and graduated in 2017 with degrees in Philosophy and Neuroscience, as well as departmental and college honors, Phi Beta Kappa membership, and a 3.74 GPA. My research experience includes multiple publications in both Neuroscience and Philosophy.
Graduate of the University of Arizona School of Pharmacy and the Southern California University of Health Sciences School of Chiropractic. I give lessons to students from middle school to college. I adjust my methods of tutoring to the needs of the student. I have been teaching in these subjects for over 13 years and have been very successful.
My focus in tutoring is always to help my students build their skills and confidence, step-by-step. I will tailor your lessons to your needs and your unique way of seeing the world. Above all, I approach every lesson with awareness, patience and respect.
Hi, I'm a huge fan of Biology. I think it is awesome! I believe there's biology in everything. I received a B.S in Biology. I work in a lab, conducting an independent research project, studying how well bacteria can grow in media with different concentrations of glucose. I plan to more closely focus on the bacterial genes and enzymes that breakdown glucose in the human digestive system.

Hi, I have done my graduation as well as post graduation in Biology and can help students to raise their scores and prepare them for SAT.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION Fellowship: Stanford University Division of Stem Cell Transplantation (2009) Ph.D., University of Southern California (2005) M.S., California State University, Los Angeles (2001) B.S.
I have a Bachelor's in Biology and an MBA in Social Enterprises. I specialize in giving an education that is tailored to each student's unique learning styles, goals and needs. I work with students all ages, including undergrads and grads.
-What are your techniques and methods of instruction? My method of instruction starts by learning my students better, how they learn, what are their strengths, etc. I then cater my education to their needs. I focus on building a strong foundation in my students and making sure they fully understand the basics of the principles I teach, before I build on their knowledge.
