I am fun and flexible. I work at people's own pace. I try to make it fun and relevant. Anyone interested can learn braille. It is fun to learn and I love it.
I teach Braille and Tyler frame to visually Impaired students and also orientation & mobility to Persons with visual disability and problem with independent living.
I work through grade 1 and 2 UEB Braille. Lessons will involve learning new Braille signs through the student becoming familiar with them by reading and brailling using a perkins Brailler which I bring with me. I leave Braille reading for the student at the end of each lesson with the signs and rules up to and inclusive of where they have reached.
I am very flexible. I like to meet the needs of others while providing a fun and interactive learning experience. I do not use many visuals because as a blind person, that is hard for me to do. You can learn braille, just believe in yourself and have patients.
