I am a college student at Emerson College who has been drawing and making comics for over ten years. I can teach children ages 10 and higher and young adults to construct their own comics and stories based on either personal experience or narrative stories.
My plan is to have no plan! While there are tips and tricks that apply to everyone, I want to personalize our time together and figure out how to best help you achieve your illustration/animation goals.
Student centered education, focus on the movements that brought us out of classic painting, such as dadism, surrealism and the subjectivity of art. I implement having a sketchbooks and I provide reading materials. I have brought change to three educational institutions by implementing my educational philosophy. I can also teach in Arabic.
I base my classes on what I have learned and what I have taught myself throughout the years.
I'm a laid back instructor who loves to help beginning artists build confidence in art step by step. We would start out with a basic foundation of drawing basic shapes, shading and skeletal line drawing for the human figure. With painting we would first by learning to mixing colors, then coloring basic shapes with various brush techniques.
I enjoy teaching students, focusing on creativity first and technique second. While technique is an important part in my lessons my focus is to not let it snuff out my students ability to creatively problem solve. Creative problem solving is the core to the art field and will take the student further no matter their skill level.
I believe in the personal unique artistic voice of each student developed through technical mastery and work. Although each student has a different skill set and level, each student can harness their creativity through their own personal experience.
My teaching method is principle based. Starting with fundamental art skills to build on for beginners. Then step by step I teach students to add more understanding for each level throughout each step. For intermediate and advance artists, I apply methods for maturing skills into focus and vision for more clarity in art.
My teaching method is having confidence in your work can make a great improvement, never be afraid to start off messy. Even though I am not a very advanced artist, I improve my weakness by doing them with bold confidence.
my lessons are very stylish in the old age and new age I've one simple rule YOU CANNOT RUSH ART for one to learn one must teach like a blossom it must sprout before it grows lessons are very life learning and need of at the most focus
I would like to form a clear goal/goals that will be accomplished by the end of the class. I believe in providing an open environment for students where they feel comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns in front of the class and myself. I would like to get to know my students skills, strengths, and weaknesses and work from there.
My style of teaching is very visual. I like to show a lot of examples of whichever technique I am discussing, preferably with an in-class demonstration. In order to ensure an understanding of the material, I try to foster back and forth communication during lessons. I love teaching art to others, and so as a tutor I'm generally approachable and enthusiastic.
My teaching approach is, philosophically, a practical one. I understand the value of intense instruction, but, believe that without being a good listener, I am only a reciter of methods.
I approach each class differently depending on the skill level of the student. If a student is new to art, then I start off with the basic fundamentals of drawing. After they gain confidence in their basic skills, I then introduce color and paint. Eventually, I like to issue out projects where the students can freely explore techniques to create a unique art piece.
Step One: Show the student what needs to be done/ how it should be done. Step two: Guide the student as they try it for themselves. Step three: Have the student become the teacher, they show you how it needs to be done. Because if you can not explain how things should be done to someone else you don't know it well enough.
My teaching method is to help students put their hearts and souls and emotions into their art. I want to help people find their voice and help draw out their talents, passion and skills in art. I will do so by helping critique my students in a creative manner, help them find what medium works best for them and help them develop their style.
I strongly believe each artist had different perspective for his/her art and various inspirations to pursue art. My teaching involves first understand YOU as an artist and guiding developing your skills towards reaching/landing your dream career. You will learn whole production process from rough sketches to finish portfolio piece.
I am a motivated ambitious teacher and learner, with experience with the different techniques and layouts on drawing, with the passion to learn and teach others about what I am capable of doing.
I have an MFA in Visual Communication from University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. A BFA in Textile design from National College of Arts, Lahore. I have been studying art since my O-levels and Al-levels. I am available to teach all ages and help art student including elementary, high school, undergraduates and graduates with their art portfolio, development of new skills and art assignments.
The key to art is focus and practice and a mentor to guide you and open your eyes to the right direction.
My teaching method is to begin at my student's level of understanding and to further develop their skill set through my demonstrations, their hands-on application of that information, and by providing them with course hand-outs for practice and remediation.
I prefer interactive teaching and hands on learning. I'm willing to make this tutoring a well earn of your money and most importantly an experience you will not regret. I'm also a nerd so I'll try tying other pop culture into the learning to make it more pleasing to different age groups.
I'm a friendly person I am very hands-on I love getting to know each child
I have 9+ years of self taught experience. I create and recreate characters. I write my own stories. I can teach easy ways to draw bodies, eyes, mouths, faces, etc. I teach how to make things into cartoons and teach how to make the character(s) have different actions and give them personalities.
Hi! I’ve worked for seven years as a digital artist in a variety of fields like animation, comics and book illustration.
As a tutor I encourage my students to get out and explore the world around them. Many of the great artists in history drew and painted the trees, barns, or skies that appeared in their everyday life. Being able to capture the beauty of our surroundings is only part of the journey, the next part is making it our own.
My teaching method is knowledge based positivity unlike any before.
My teaching method is with lines. I use a line to create in illustration, still art, and more. I carefully pin point an situation by a perspective view. Designing is not to be rush, but if needs be on time. Being a 2017 graduate with 35 years exploring in the field of art. I grown to understand, one must have a love for art to rightfully explore it.
I give sincere critique to those who show me their artwork. I will say what I like and what I think can be improved. For example, "it seems you need to work on line smoothness, however it is overall a great drawing.
My method of teaching is teaching each person one by one and knowing their strengths and weaknesses, knowing them on a one on one basis.
