My class is student-center. The content and teaching style is based on the student's learning needs and learning preferences. I always guide students to acquire knowledge and facilitate them to be independent learners. I am bilingual in English and Mandarin. Tutees can choose immersion or bilingual teaching style based on your preference.
Free talk and interesting practice to make sure student get knowledge with interest. Relax student, hope I can make more people realize that conquer a language is not that difficult as we thought. I’m very easy going, would like to share life with friends from all over the world.
Anybody that wants to learn Chinese is welcome! We will be focusing on how to use words and grammar structures just like a native speaker would use them! Learning methodology will consist of a lot of speaking back and forth.
I teach based on what the student needs. I can tutor anyone of any age and I will cater my tutoring style specifically to meet their needs. I can help with Conversations, listening comprehension, vocabulary, and of course mastering the accent and tones of chinese.
I believe that it is important to understand the cultural diversity in the classroom, and provide opportunities for each students to share their cultural traditions and experiences. Because ESL students come from different cultural backgrounds. The ESL teacher should develop intercultural sensitivity and understand cultural differences.
I usuqlly teach in a group from 1-3 and my teacher method is very hands-on and speaking oriented.
Hi Everyone, I'm Jiani. I have a Bachelor's degree from Dongbei University in Shenyang, China. I moved to the US in 2015, but have been teaching since 2012. Before I moved to the US I taught English to Chinese students. Now, I teach Chinese to Americans! I specialize in conversation-based classes. That means less focus on books and more focus on speaking.
Approaching the Chinese language can be daunting and I usually take it upon myself to make the language as accessible as possible. The structure of tutoring sessions makes it possible for me to hone in and tailor my session to meet my student's needs.
I give all levels Chinese lessons ( including Business Chinese，HSK , HSKK exam preparation ). my course is personalized, I take into account the level and learning situation of each student , usually my course consists in 6 parts : listening , reading, writing (pinyin and characters) , oral practice, grammar and Chinese culture .
I tailor my teaching technique to the student! I like to introduce topics relevant to the student in my lesson; I use music and movies to teach listening comprehension, and discuss the student's favorite topics when working on conversational Chinese.
I adopt a teaching style that is framed specifically for the student. Every student is unique, hence I would conduct an evaluation or design a syllabus according to the student's needs and desired outcome. Also, I do not just teach the language but introduces the deep breadth culture at the same time.
My lesson plans will vary as students come from diffrent levels and have different focuses of interests. Depending on which aspects the student desires to improve on, individualized study plans will be developed regarding oral/writing expression, or listening/writing comprehension.
My lessons will be vary based on the student's prior knowledge of the language. The first session will be a general evaluation of their abilities as well as their individual needs/interests in learning Mandarin. Following this, I will structure lessons to gradually build understanding of the language's tones, grammar, and vocabulary custom for each student.

I love to use analogies in my class to relate difficult, complex, or foreign concepts. I found the use of analogy extremely helpful with students from all levels. I believe in practice making things perfect. So if you join in my class, you may find each class with only a few new words or phases, but lots of chances for you to practice.
I believe in Total Immersion. Students learn fast in a Chinese speaking environment. In U.S.A., I obtained a MA degree in Education, an CA Adult Education Teaching Credential and a certificate of Chinese language teaching from the UC Berkeley.
My teaching method is visually showing it and also orally speaking it, but it usually varies from students to students because their learning style might be different. I try my best to simplify all the instructions and be patient, kind, and compassionate to all my students.
I give lessons to students who are just beginning to learn Mandarin Chinese. It can be difficult going from an alphabet based language to a character based one. I help students step by step with understanding and learning the foundation of the language so they can built up from it.
I base my class on what the students want. I usually teach about basic grammar and vocabularies, and then I will do a lot of chatting with my students so they have to apply what they have learnt in real life conversations. I believe that the only way to learn a language is to keep speaking and using the language.
My teaching methods vary from using the Yale and/or Oxford oral and written practice textbooks on Mandarin Chinese. I am also well-versed with the Taiwan-produced publications. However given my years of practical experience living and working and speaking in China, I try to emphasize the conversational and common situational language in the context of conversations.
My teaching methodology is based on the situation of each student. By understanding what they need, what their learning patterns are and what their knowledge level is, I will try to come up a way that help him enjoy the subject while learning it and learn it efficiently.
I give lessons to kindergarten kids, elementary kids and middle schoolers who are interested in Chinese or Chinese culture. My lessons are always fun because I teach them Chinese by looking at a recipe and cook, or play games and watch some TV shows. I know both traditional and simplified Chinese.
you can call me Miss Fang, I've been teaching Chinese since high school and it is so fun. My goal is to help you learn it love it and be able to survive with it.
I believe in learning happily in a safe and welcoming environment. A great learning environment is a place where mistakes are allowed, and challenges are overcome. I believe in mutual respect between my students and I, and my lessons are typically casual but productive. My expertise are middle and high school math (Algebra1, Geometry, Algebra 2).
I am very patient, so my teaching method is to never rush to a result. Especially for language learners, I believe taking the time to solidify every foundation grammar and vocabulary point is the key to further study and the final success.
Since I am just a college student, I would only be teaching the basics that you would learn in a Chinese early elementary classes. I would start with phonetics and tonal distinction before moving on to easy characters and conversational Mandarin Chinese. If you speak Mandarin at all, I would really like to know how I can help you continue wherever you are at.
I like to make classes fun. Instead of making student memorize all the notes, I like to make students to understand the materials through fun ways (short movies, activities...etc). I also like to review materials before new lectures so students can build a strong foundation before moving to the next step.
I give classes depending on students' current language ability and their needs of using the language. I do lots of practices with my students. I write feedback for students each time after the class session. Before a new session, I do reviews with students based on the notes from last class session.
my teaching method is TPR and visual based which reinforce student's critical think skills. Encourage students to explore and learn by using students' own abilities and prior knowledge to think and learn the most, moreover practice what and what they have learned in real life.
