I specialize in Electronic (EDM), Pop, Indie, and Hip-Hop. I will see where your music is at, be it never started or nearly finished, then teach you the skills and give you the tips you need to create finished works of art. Songs, EP's, Albums, Lyrics, Instrumentals / Beats, Whatever. Let's do it baby.
I graduated from Liberty University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies and I am currently a Graduate student in Music Education. My Music theory lessons focus on the level of the student and meeting their needs for study. My instrument lessons focus on the development of reading music, improvisational techniques, and listening.
My teaching is personal - I enjoy knowing what music inspires and drives my students. I work carefully in understanding ways in which I can motivate my students in crafting their piano technique or composing skills. I encourage students to create achievable goals like preparing for a monthly performance regardless of level or writing a song for a birthday.
I believe that hands on experience with a expert guiding the student is the most efficient way to learn what I do. I explain workflows in tutorial videos that can be repeated and studied. When we meet online it is more of a masterclass or conversation. I meet every student at their level and we move on from there.
I have been very fortunate to have enjoyed a successful career in music, performing, recording and producing. As I expanded my interests beyond being a recording artist (Platinum Award) into production, non profit fund raisers and musical theatre, I realized that projects that gave back to the community, in whatever way, were the most satisfying experiences.
I approach teaching music from a creative meets functional standpoint. Making music is fun ! I like to acknowledge that factor while still taking the student from their current level to where they wish to be at in an efficient way.
I use a practical approach to help students grasp and understand the software/equipment they are using. By using a realistic approach, and pointing out real life examples & scenarios - it gives students an uncanny ability to recall lessons and apply technique when they are faced with tackling their own real life audio.
I like to present a concept and allow my students to expand on it using their own creativity. I make sure that my students understand how to use music software the way it was intended as well as in ways it wasn't intended in order to create unique sounds. Every student will leave the class knowing how to use a digital audio workstation to create electronically generated music.
My teaching method is based off the humanity of music in a modern sensibility. I incorporate a lot of sampling and production techniques and mix aall my own stuff too.
To best prepare my students for a career in audio engineering/production, I approach the subject from a highly technical point of view. Rather than hammering students to memorize scales and chord progressions, I give them the tools to build their own workflow and composition techniques.
My career in music started in Jazz, Ive been laying the saxophone since 4th grade. Within the last 10 years I've been recording my own music on Ableton and logic. Recently I've been using serato to DJ sets in the twin cities. Ive performed at first ave, triple rock, the cabooz all over the place.
I tailor my lessons based on your individual needs. I will develop a plan that suits your needs and goals with producing in FL Studio.
I have taught many of my friends how to become a dj. I start with the basic knowledge of what the equipment is and what every button does. Then we go into what type of music they like and start with something comfortable that they like and take it from there.
Hi, my names is Thomas T, I am a 22 year old self-taught music producer. I still remember how complex some of the DAW's (Digital Audio Workspaces) seemed when first using them, how overwhelming it can seem. In my sessions I will teach you everything you will ever need to know to build your own Audio Masterpieces, in simple, and easily understood terms.
I pride myself on my analytical nature. I have spent countless hours understanding not just the "whats," but also the "hows" and "whys." I want my students to know that I can go at whatever pace they'd like me to. I also make sure to explain things in detail so my students get the full understanding of what it is I am teaching.
What is great about music production is there are so many avenues for it. I think finding what an individual is passionate about is most important and then start chipping away at all the aspects of it.
I base my clases on the needs of my students... Song by song, together we can learn and get better each time...
I teach all forms of music and audio by starting with the basics of audio, sound, acoustics, electronics, and music theory. I expect my students to have the desire to learn as much as they can and to keep learning through their careers.
I take a student-centered approach to learning, where we create a course of study most effective for your goals. From audio recording, to classical composition, to songwriting, to AP music theory test training. I like to create a flexible program that can adapt as needs and interests change. I am positive, high-energy, and non-judgemental. I can help motivate, validate, and educate.
There’s nothing more captivating than noticing that which goes unnoticed. My name is Kelsey and I am originally from South Africa. I have a Degree in Composition and Conducting from the Berklee College of Music. I have achieved my Master's Certificate for Composition and Orchestration with Berklee Online, and am passionate about pursuing new approaches and developments.
I am experienced in contemporary music composition and sound design on Ableton Live. The fundamental principle behind my teaching style is active learning. As such I am also asking my students the why as well as teaching them the what. Ableton is made up of many simple components that when fully understood can be combined to created incredible unique sounds.
I have been doing music production lessons for a few years now, and I find that Zoom is the best application to use while doing mentor sessions over the internet. You are able to share each others screen and audio feeds, while still chatting face to face. Once I get a feel for where you are at with your knowledge, I can design the perfect "course" for you to take. If you are in the L.A.
I teach an integrated curriculum, where students develop a holistic understanding of their topic or instrument: Mastery of musical language or instrumental practice will come from understanding the history, context, and relevance of each subject and idea.
Interactive advance sessions based of free material from the internet focusing on modern production and composition techniques.
The material I can teach revolves around the current technology used to create electronic music, including DAWs (your choice, but I specialize in Live, Logic, and Pro Tools), VSTs (Native Instruments and many others), and the equipment you need to successfully create the music and how to use it properly.
My name is Carlos A. Boyce Jr.,from Panama City Panama , I have be en playing drums for 40 years of my life with a Latin twist that utilizes mathematical timings while implementing Scalic tuning method with authentic tonal colors.
I am Erik Biano. I am an artist and an educator. I am a music teacher and I teach Piano, Music theory, composition, voice, and ear training. I create my own lesson plans based on every individual student's ability. Upon request, I could provide samples of my lesson plans. I try to be fun and make the students love music and my classes.
I have been a professional musician for 30 years in Nashville and now I live in NYC. I teach all levels of piano, keyboards (playing and programming and associated software), music theory, and vocal coaching specifically for musical theater. I have had experience playing in the recording studio, music direction, conducting, arranging/composing, producing, and teaching.
My method is simple, since most people interested in making their own music look for knowledge online I'll focus mainly in the art of Electronic music (this is not to say we won't be dealing with real instruments) It's important to define my lessons don't include analog systems, it all takes place in your laptop guys. Now... First of we kick it with some basic Sound and Music theory. I know.
I believe that when it comes to learning any sort of active skill, the only way to effectively learn is practice. With music production in particular, explaining something verbally has a limited threshold for effectiveness. My method is to explain something first on a technical level, then on a metaphoric level, and then to give simple examples and exercises on applying the skill.
