I base my classes on each student’s personal interests to help them develop their own unique voice through the visual arts. I create detailed lesson plans geared toward the chosen skillsets each student wishes to develop. I like to expose every student to a broad range of artistic medium to help them discover which creative tools truly inspire them to make art.
I build my lesson structures based on my students particular needs and interests. They learn about the context of the practice, work on assignments to help build skill and dream up projects where my student makes what actually interests them.

When learning to manipulate paint, I start gradually with assignments that can train brush strokes, and the layering of colors. For example, one assignment would be to paint in only shades of blue so that the artist learns how to manipulate colors that relate to each other as it is more helpful visually.
We can discuss about your needs and goals to come up with art projects. For example, the attitude of drawing or painting may differ depending on if you would like to freely sketch and focus more on capturing the feel versus you would want to accurately transfer what you see. The subject matter, choosing material and statement will vary and be personalized for you.
On teaching method is every student can learn and every student has their own individual way of learning. Using the 7 modalities.
