I base my class on the elements and principles of art. I believe once somone learns how to properly use the elements and principles of art they can create anything! I teach students a method that involves looking at the world in a simplified way. Anything can be drawn once you learn how to simply what you're looking at.
I have given lessons to beginners and intermediate college student. My techniques and methods are based on what I have learned from my mentors. As well as sharing knowledge of my own techniques, I believe sharing knowledge has a great impact.
I teach by example using a hands-on approach. My method is very direct and allows for the student to learn with actual practice. I give the students the tools to succeed and then give them freedom to create artwork that they want to create.
I believe strongly that often our drawings do not turn out the way we want because we are drawing based on our mental perception of what something SHOULD look like, but not what it actually looks like.
I enjoy teaching children and young teens/adults the basic and high level skills of different art forms in a free flowing atmosphere. I enjoy letting people create and learn at there own pace, with the help from a teacher or other students.
I understand that every student has a different style of learning, my curriculum will be a combination of visual learning, physical practice, and research. I work with students individually even in group settings to assure each student is getting the most out of the class.
My teaching method is really personalised because i want to understand very well all of the art tecnics and individual process about my students, so but i have 6 moduls that i used for the base to teach the basic about creative process.
My teaching method focuses on individuals. I typically start with getting to know each student and discovering what their skill level is as well as their goals and ambitions. I want to be sure that our time together is valuable and the information and skills I share will advance each student into the next level.
My teaching method includes demonstrations and active learning exercises for students to internalize specific learning objectives. I provide a historical background for this contemporary field of study and underscore the importance of materials and technique in the creative process. I utilize contemporary delivery methods with images of works of art from around the world and throughout time.
I am currently studying architecture at Iowa State University. I give lessons to anyone who wants to better their handwriting or drawing skills. Even though I am not a native speaker of Spanish, language learning comes to me easily. I like to meet people one-on-one, because this gives me a good understanding of the individual. I can then see what their strengths and weaknesses are.
I am a resourceful and imaginative teaching professional, highly trained in a wide array of artistic mediums. I have a talent for instilling art appreciation and promoting creativity and open-mindedness in students, plus a proven ability to maintain a well-disciplined and highly-motivated classroom.
I am an art educator that has experience in teaching all age levels in drawing and painting. Blooms' taxonomy is used, a strong foundation is created and lessons build on each other. I first determine the level at which students are working and build on those skills.
Many people avoid making art because they think they have no artistic talent. Creating art can seem like a scary and unattainable goal, especially for those who are relatively new to the art world. I offer beginner-intermediate level lessons, providing the basic building blocks of 2D art, and helping students develop their inner artist.
Step One: Show the student what needs to be done/ how it should be done. Step two: Guide the student as they try it for themselves. Step three: Have the student become the teacher, they show you how it needs to be done. Because if you can not explain how things should be done to someone else you don't know it well enough.
My main method of teaching is to find what the student enjoys doing and what they need improvement in, working on strengthening both as best suits each student. Each first lesson will focus on identifying these strengths and weaknesses and subsequent lessons will focus on strengthening weaknesses and finding the best methods to do so, and honing their strengths to better their work.
My teaching method is to take what students are interested in and use that as an anchor so they can understand what I am teaching.them.
My teaching methods are to give demonstrations to the class, and offer a more visual learning experience. I also include personal experiences and advice to my students they would benefit from. I give lessons to anyone from a beginners level to intermediate levels.
My teaching method is to help students put their hearts and souls and emotions into their art. I want to help people find their voice and help draw out their talents, passion and skills in art. I will do so by helping critique my students in a creative manner, help them find what medium works best for them and help them develop their style.
I am someone who loves art in all of its forms. I have inclusive experience in performance and fine arts. I have taught clarinet, music and art appreciation, stage design, stage makeup design, costume design, general art, observational drawing, illustration, and graphic design.
I ask my students to teach me everything they know and then I make an evaluation of where skills need to be improved or learned. With groups I perform the same , but tailor the education to a more specific approach. My students also state what they would like to achieve/learn.
My classes are very interactive. I make efforts to understand the natural skills set and thinking pattern of each student and direct the course of study for hem accordingly. The end goal largely remains to be able to convey your ideas effectively through sketching, diagramming and painting.
My philosophy is that every student no matter skill level learns differently and has different needs and experiences in painting. My lessons are geared for all skills. I can teach in almost every media that a student is interested in but my personal style is abstract fine art. On a deeper level, my work is about art and healing and teaching how to communicate through creativity.
My methodology is creating a shared learning experience. Let me learn the main areas you'd like to improve and I will curate a personal plan! We will focus on reaching milestones both big and small together. Based on your areas of focus, lessons will be broken down into teaching, student learning, teacher review, and then revisions.
A little will go a long way. My method is a step by step process. Practice makes perfect and in order to be an artist or do the craft is to be patient and practice a lot with the education tools I will provide.
My plan is to have no plan! While there are tips and tricks that apply to everyone, I want to personalize our time together and figure out how to best help you achieve your illustration goals.
I will base my classes on having fun using expression and learning something. First, we would start off basic to see what level you are at and work from there. I think that it is important to not get bored so it will always be an interesting time.
When teaching, I focus on building muscle memory and technical skill before the creation of a complete piece. The ability to be confident in drawing a line comes before drawing a detailed face. I work step by step with students, offering one on one help when requested.
I enjoy teaching children and to nurture their own personal drawing abilities. I love seeing them grow and realize that everything is made out of shapes. That "AHA" moment on their faces is priceless and when they get it they soar.
I am usually a hands-on person and a one to one person. I will help you with want you need at the speed you need. I encourage people to contact me as much as possible and ask as many questions possible.
